A good solid lock. I added a bit of WD40 just to make the key a little less stiff in it. The lock now works like a charm.

The shell may well be stainless steel as they say, it is generally in great condition, as a lock should be. The regrettable issue with these padlocks is that although the shell is stainless steel the lock is not, it's probably standard Iron based on how quickly it has rusted.What does this mean??? Well it means the lock is almost impossible to turn now, you literally have to force the key to rotate the final 1/4 closed and it's basically useless.I'm returning these as they are less than a month old so fortunately I can do that. My Masterlock padlock has been on there for a year and is still as smooth and fluid as the day I put it on. It's only to protect an outdoor storage container, so the actual sturdiness of the lock generally matters little. If someone wants in, it is doubtful any padlock will take them long to get through, but the idea is that it gives them a little extra hassle that may make them look elsewhere or deter the common thief.Oh well. I'll return these and buy from a brand that I have previously actually heard of. Imagine calling yourself a brand leader and hardly anyone knowing who you are!

Been searching for keyed alike locks but they were all really pricy. Then found these. They look really good and open and close really easily. Just what I needed to get in and out easy of the double locked area

This looks like a good rugged combination lock and could deter opportunitists in a monitored or trafficked location. It is however only a 4 number lock. If the attacker has 10 minutes they'll get it open via the combination. The wheels for the combination are very finicky about being in line as the detents are not great, and the lever to open the lock is also grindy and rough.The best feature really is that it *looks* hard to break open.

Strong, well made, easy to use and gives me great peace of mind by keep my 2 dogs, and my home, safe in my walled garden. Have recommened to friends.
