Will it get rid of algea at the bottom of my pond

Hello. I use Blagdon Pond Sludgebuster with some success but best after using an algea removing product. The idea is that the algea removing product (pond clear type),will cause the waste material and algea to clump together and sink. Adding the Sludgebuster at this stage will allow the bacteria to feast on the debri on the bottom and your filter will do the rest. Good luck. TB.

My pond has approx 1500l water. can i use a whole sachet at once? can i keep an opened one for future use? thanks.

my pond contains about 360 gallons and I use a whole sachet, I don't think you can put too much in but it really works turns all the blanket weed and other unwanted detritus into powder which is much easier for filters and pumps to deal with, thoroughly recommend this product made my life a lot easier as you can just wash the powder out rather than dealing with great clumps of weed. So in short go for using the whole sachet. Hope this helps.

How does this sludge buster work? Bacteria consumes sludge , but how does it get removed from the pond? Im sure it doesn't just evaporate, no?

I have no idea where the sludge goes, all I can say is that it does work, my pond was clearer in a few days.
