I bought this for cutting wallpaper, hold it in place whilst I cut it with a sharp blade, great straight edge as well

As long as you are not expecting a precision piece of kit and if you are a DIYer or light user this is more than adequate for the price. I have bought mine for a straight edge to use craft knifes and scalpels so beware to be careful if you are doing the same due to its aluminium construction it can be damaged by a sharp knife or blade.

What a great tool! I purchased this to use in my sewing room. I have a large acrylic ruler (6 x 24 inches) which is very good but when using my rotary cutter I keep catching the edge of the ruler and sometimes struggle to hold it in place. This spirit level ruler has a handle which is very usesful and makes holding the ruler steady easier and because it is thinner and firmer than the acrylic one, the rotary blade just glides along without catching the edges. a very useful piece of equipment for the sewing room and of course would be very good for intended purposes around the home. Definitely recommended.

Great for measuring paper, wallpaper, vinyl & using with a cutter tool when upcycling furniture. Its lightweight, seems accurate & the spirit level useful for ensuring painted surfaces are level.

Solid and affordable aluminium ruler. Bought to help me prepare mount boards for my photos as some of them can be quite big so I needed something sturdy and with a handle (one of the main reasons I chose this model).Although I have managed to dent it as the cutting knife slides next to it I can’t really blame that on the product, but on myself.I know it also has spirit levels but have never used them so I can’t comment on them and their supposed “crookedness”.
