Life with "Doc": My Husband & My Teacher, Dr. David R. Hawkins Paperback – October 17, 2022

For those familiar with Doc’s work, this book makes the perfect companion. In it, not only does Susan articulate exactly what life was like, but also the reasons and meaning behind why their relationship took place at all.I was so touched at her recounting of Doc’s last moments on earth that I had to put the book down and have a good cry for a few minutes.It was a very gratifying and heartfelt read and the explanation at the end of the book about the continuing of the work helped contextualize many questions I had about Veritaspub and it’s purpose and function.I am so very grateful that Susan wrote this book. It feels like an extremely satisfying “Epilogue” or “Afterward” to the mountain of Doc’s work.Highly recommended, especially to Doc students.

After reading all of Dr. Hawkins books multiple times, watching almost all the lectures, and participating in study groups, I'm happy to report this is new and helpful content. I really enjoyed reading Susan's side of things, what an incredible journey she shares with us.

I am one of the lucky few that tapped into Dr. David Hawkins’s work when he was still alive. I attended every lecture I could. They were exceptional, elevating and transformed me and all attending into the best a human being we could be. They were a little island of sanity, relief and understanding the experience of the world, like I stepped into a secret meeting that brought me in touch with my true nature of light and bliss and explained why the world was so difficult, stupid at times and crazy making. We were all in awe and deeply loving this slight and wiry old guy called Doc as he darted across the stage. A constant mostly silent companion waiting patiently at the table was Susan, always ready with her arm for kinesiology testing by Doc. Don’t let her humble attitude fool you, Doc could not have brought this wisdom into the world without her presence. He has a masterful way of distilling the essence of the higher spiritual realms in a language that spoke to us. This wisdom will be transforming humanity for a very long time…….especially now in our time of chaos. Susan, thanks for letting us again experience those precious days and bringing us into your home to have an expresso with you and Dave……this book brings alive that time in space that never goes away. Thank you!!!

Susan Hawkins has done a wonderful job of presenting the personal side of someone, sadly, I will never meet. My life has been transformed by Dr. Hawkins' books and recorded seminars, starting with his "Transcending the Levels of Consciousness," which was the first book of his I read. I appreciate Mrs. Hawkins' efforts in this and in sharing with us some of the flavor of their lives together.

I love this book and ordered a second copy for my sister. Amazon threw it on door steps at our office when the office was closed (which is our delivery address) and it rained all night on the book. When we found it in the morning the book was saturated, wrinkled and certainly not presentable as a gift. I wish Veritas used some other method for shipping their books as I rather detest Amazon in general and this experience validated my original experience. I'm sure they calibrate very low. Also, Veritas Publishing is excellent and I love their books, paper quality, feel of the book cover, etc. Although this book is Veritas published, the other books I ordered are from The Hay House and they are just not the same quality. They even feel bad in the hands. Just my 2 cents worth. How do we get Veritas to publish and ship again for a better experience all around? Rita

I got so much out of this book! I was a student of Doctor Hawkins and learning about their lives together was fascinating. It makes me love and understand the him all the more. Thank you Susan for writing it.
