Great lower priced high end video graphics card for my Mac Pro 2012 5.1 and Mac Pro 7.1
I have two of these video cards, the same modelRADEON PRO WX-9100 and I use it on my Mac Pro towers. It is required to run Metal on Macintosh and it is made also to run on windows with Volcan. I use it for flight simulator X-Plane. It runs superior speeds in the frame rates are much higher than other video cards I have used. while running multiple monitors. six is the maximum. I use it for three monitors two ultra high resolution 27 inches and an 32” inch 4K monitor. I am highly satisfied with these two video cards. They’re better than what came with my computers. I have many other video cards as well for my Mac’s and even Pc that I upgraded, but I like these two video cards. The best of all I’ve used. it also runs great on windows on my Macintosh while also running Windows 10 pro very efficiently on theMac Pro without the problems of a PC going blue screen other complications because every component is compliant it works great. i’d like to note one thing though. you have to use a very good high quality mini display port to HDMI connectors to push a signal through the monitors that are UHD and 4K they require 2.0 HDMI cable monitors are very finicky these days especially with their requirements for a good video signal that’s strong. I have gone through a lot of adapters mainly to get the windows running right not the Macintosh. Also, you must use on the special Macintosh adapters that run 150 W for the 7.1 and for the Macintosh 5.1 you have to modify the electrical which is NOTE VERY DANGEROUS USE CAUTION ! And wire to the power supply directly to run wiring in for the video card so you don’t burn up the motherboard using the 75 W Power supply adapters that come with the video card. Make sure. that all the contents you need for the 5.1 and 7.1 they are different original retail box are in the box. Some sellers remove them by repackaging and claiming that the product is new this happened from the second seller and you have to go straight to Apple to buy them or buy them from Belkin !Belkin is the manufacturer. Enjoy this fine video card .

Best way to drive 6 high resolution displays with one card.
Installed in a mission critical workstation that drives 6 high resolution medical displays. Easily handles everything I have managed to throw at it. Factory fan profile is biased towards quiet operation with a 2000 rpm max, if you are rendering scenes or using it for large compute loads I recommend increasing the fan profile through the AMD Global Tuning option to keep the Boost frequency as high as possible. Amazing card that has managed to replace 2 cards with one, lowering idle power draw of the system.

Great card, but don't mistakenly use with an eGPU breakout box if Thunderbolt 3 is needed
Great card, but afraid right now its not going to do what I need it to do until I can get another monitor, maybe a 4K DisplayPort Monitor. The monitor I have at 5k display, requires a Thunderbolt 3 input only, no Displayport capability and there isnt a converter that will change DisplayPort to Thunderbolt 3 protocol . I like the card, maybe when I can buy a different monitor I will be able to use it.

Worth the investment
The AMD Radeon WX 1900 works fabulously well with four screens.Easy to setup with Mac OS X Mojave 10.14.4 Beta, the card is recognised and used automatically.

Works with Mac Pro 5,1 and 7,1
This card is great if you need to drive 30" Cinema displays. It drives 6 of them without problem. In the 5,1 Mac Pro you need to get power cables, one from the motherboard and another probably from one of the SATA ports to give the card enough juice to run. It works in High Sierra all the way up to Catalina with no special drivers. On the 5,1 you will not see a boot up screen. On the 7,1 you just use the Belkin power cable kit and plug it in. It's faster than the base 580x card. It also is takes less power. The 9100 takes 10w driving 6 30" screens while the 580x takes 26w driving no screens. It's dead quiet. And, on the 7,1 you can see boot screens and have all the boot screen options. If you need to drive a lot of mini/display port cards on a Mac, this is a really great card.
