At first it didn't work at all and I thought it was a waste of time trying to. Not worth the hassle to return. Other buyers reported the same problem.So I ordered another more expensive cable from another seller only to discover it didn't work either and looks exactly the same item/quality as this one.Solution: PS3 needs to recognise the new AV connection so you need to reset/start. Just hold the power button until you hear 2 beeps or the PS3 starts and shuts down again. Then press power again and everything works fine.So nothing wrong with this cable. Its perfect. Just user issue with slightly unintuitive PS3 setup!

really really tight fit in the back of my PS1 but works all the same. doesnt look that high quality and it looked like there were a lot of pins missing in the cable head but it works fine so maybe its meant to be like that.
