Q: Hey guys, anyone know if this would work with an old 7 C cell maglite?

On the package, it shows up to 6 cells can be used. The nominal voltage of alkaline cells is 1.5V, but the nominal voltage of NiMH and NiCD cells is 1.2V. As 6x1.5V=9V, you should be ok using 7 NiMH or 7 NiCd cells as 7x1.2V=8.4V It should be noted that 9V blocks (PP3) use 6x1.5V cells if they are alkaline, and usually 7x1.2V cells if they are NiMH or NiCd. So again, this illustrates that 7 NiMH or 7 NiCD cells can be used instead of 6 alkaline cells.

Q: Will this fit a rechargeable maglite?

Didn’t fit my battery mag lite. That’s all I can say.

Q: I have a three cell mag lite which has a screw in bulb which needs replacing will this fit it?

My 6 cell Mag light has a plane fit bulb, not screw fit. I’ve had my Mag light for 15 years so the later ones may have changed to screw.

Q: Does this replace the two pin bulb?

No. Its only suited to the screw in bulb models such as D cell torches
