SB103 Natural Terracotta 17cm Round Dish, Brown

Bit of nostalgia here as when I was a child we had holidays in Spain and Mum & Dad bought these to use when we came home for certain dishes. I use them for savoury pancakes. They fit two well filled pancakes or three filled a bit less. Cover with cheese sauce and pop in the oven. They clean up pretty well but you are best advised to leave them to soak overnight to get any baked food off. Great little dishes!

I dont write reviews. I'm a grump.But saw these dishes on a cook programme and realised they could be used on the gas hob.So an hour after delivery, with garlic, chilli, olive oil and fresh local prawns (I'm in Scotland) . What a dish.A GREAT addition to our kitchen.Back to the harbour for more prawns..A great wee terracotta dish.

Less than two months of use and the dish has developed a hairline crack rendering it useless for cooking purposes, see photos

I wanted to make a Tian. A baked root vegetable dish with cheese. Which I had tried at a local restaurant. Surprisingly I found it hard to buy an actual Tian. I settled for this because of its 17cm diameter. Internally it’s 15.5 cm making it ideal for cooking a lunch for one . It also fits in my small halogen oven. The results have been superb. My only criticism is that to buy one for occasional use it’s a little expensive.

They look good but one was cracked on arrival

Not over heavy. Seems well made. Just fits inside my 2.5ltr air fryer. Good price and pleased I bought 2. Havnt used yet so not sure about cleaning it once used. Just right for portion for one person.

I bought this as a bowl for feeding my lizard his live food in - to stop them running away. The nice deep sides do the trick and the weight of this dish is perfect for the job. Have already ordered another as back up. Granted, it's not the usual use for this but its perfect for the job ;)
