Love this, decided to go for a larger machine to make toasties for all the family and I'm not disappointed, cooked perfectly and very easy to remove and clean the plates. Works better with the smaller loaves of bread but its not difficult to cut the crust of the larger slices before toasting. Looking forward to trying out the grill and the waffle plates next

Bought as new used, so probably been returned. This is fine and happy with condition.Positives: the changeable plates are hopefully going to be easier to clean than a standard press. Really happy with waffle plates, make good sized waffles.Negatives or minor concerns: the back hinge seems a little lose. So when closing to cook have to be careful to align the top and bottom. This might affect longevity. Have to find storage for the spare plates but so be it.Edited after a bit of use. In UK the average slice of bread is too large so you'll need to cut bottom crust off for 4 sandwiches.Easy to clean the plates but the hinge is tough if cheese oozes out.

This is literally the worst toaster I have ever come across -My son threw the box out or I would have returned it!The toaster takes literally ages to toast and it’s not deep fill - it’s awful!The waffle toaster is just as bad -The design is terrible it basically warms rather than toasts properly.Maybe I’m being a bit unfair but do you actually want to wait nearly 10 minutes to hear a machine and another 10 minutes to toast your toastie (which still may not be browned!)Plates are a gimmick and you’d be better off with a proper toasterI give this 2 out if 10 and seriously would give no stars if possibleIt’s not even cheap really - wholly disappointed

Real Non-Stick & removable plates. Heats quickly and is very easy to clean. Looks good, too. I'd absolutely recommend this product having now used it dozens of times in the past couple of months.

Have gone a through poor quality Toastie makers from the big name maker Slater, which have had repeated safety problems, so far this doesn't appear to have any.The removable plates help make cleaning easier as does the non-stich surfaces. It folds away nicely for storage on its sideDoes the job, the only criticisms are1. Although it makes 4 at a time (which is excellent!) it only takes small loaf slices, which sort of works but requires careful placing if you want to do 4 at a time and get a good seal on the edges.2. The clip that used to hold the two plates together while cooking could be both stronger and allow for more fillings (adjustable would be good).3. Very short mains cable, but this seems to be endemic with this type of product - Why?Answer probably cost, but guess you don't want lots of cable on a kitchen surface either, but still makes it difficult to find a place for it with a short cable.Would I buy again - Yes - so far its working well

The plastic clip that holds the plates in melted after only 3 months of use. Only used total of 7 times. Very poor quality and would like a refund or replacement. Now the product won’t work at all and the spring has come out that holds the plate together. Please contact me in regards to this25/01 seller replaced the product very quickly. Hoping that it doesn’t break again.
