It will be perfect you don't need to use a lot either just over a pea size it smells really nice it's hard to describe just nice you'll like it I've been using it for 10 years now I used to use other stuff but it's too greasy Matt paste is just perfect non greasy good hold and easy to wash out.

Hi, the answer is yes it is. It does soften slightly when you warm it up in your hands before applying it to your hair but this is the correct consistency of the product. Stick with it as it really is the best hair product I've ever used and I wouldn't use anything else. A little really does go a long way and a 120ml tub lasts me approx 12 months.

It works great on short thick hair if you wish to achieve an extra lift without hair looking wet or greasy. I buy this product for my husband. Unfortunately, I am unable to comment whether this product is suitable for thick chin length hair.
