I am a diehard handkerchief carrier. I prefer not to use tissues because of waste and I find there too rough on my nose. The designs are pretty. I wish they were on both sides, but not a dealbreaker. I found for the most part they are washing and drying well and getting softer with each wash, which is typical of cotton. I find you do have to take them out of the dryer right away and lay them flat or they will be a bit wrinkly. I ended up buying a second pack of these because I liked the first. I would recommend.

Have chronic allergies. Was using way too many kleenexs so I decided to go to handkerchiefs. Easier on the nose and easier on the environment.

Thumbs up to these perfect-size women's hankies. At 12" square, they're easy to use and inconspicuous, if you're uncomfortable using them in public.I'm tired of wasting money on tissues which are getting thinner and thinner, in boxes holding less and less.BTW I handwashed these in hot water before using, and they held up great. The colors are vibrant, and the print appears on both sides. They can be easily pressed if anyones concerned about wrinkling.I ordered the pack of 10, and an empty kleexex box makes a good holder for clean hankies!

These are a little stiff even after washing. They come out of the dryer very wrinkled, the edges in particular get folded over and creased. I think with more washes they might soften up a bit. The prints are pretty. The size is standard, not large.
