USA Pan Jumbo Texas Muffin Pan, 6 Well, Nonstick & Quick Release Coating, Aluminized Steel

I purchased this after two others absolutely failed as nonstick pans. I was using them to make breakfast high protein popovers at 450. Granted, high protein batter is more likely to stick, so I used a high smoke-point oil to grease them. With the first, the oil literally baked onto the the finish and I had to use oven cleaner to get it off... of course that was the end of the nonstick finish. It went in the trash. With the second, a coating of oil didn't work and the popovers released only when I used a heavy coating Bakers Joy. It defeats the purpose.The wells/cups are the perfect size, the popovers baked perfectly and with the same high smoke-point oil blend, they lifted right out. Don't waste your money on anything else like I did.

I love the HIGH quality of USA Pan. The first one I bought was an 8 x 8 and was hooked immediately, the quality, design and weight of the pan, and nothing sticks to it. This extra large muffin pan is wonderful, I greased and floured the tins and the muffins came out with ease. If you're a baker you'll love these wonderful pans.

This is a nice pan because the light color makes it distribute heat more evenly and it is also nonstick. The jumbo size is great for making big streusel blueberry muffins. I will say that they do scratch. One star off because of that.

Decided I wanted to make jumbo cupcakes and this muffin pan does the trick. I used muffin liners in making blueberry muffins for the first usage. Found a jumbo muffin recipe on Pinterest and they came out great.
