These things are absolute junk. They are approximately 0.1 in two big in diameter to fit into a BilJax scaffold set. On top of that, the actual metal itself is extremely thin and probably not safe to use anyway if it would fit. Unfortunately I did not need it right away and now I'm screwed because it's over 30 days. Horrible product! Shame on Amazon for even selling it! Only gave it one star because zero is not possible.

The pins were 1 3/8 inches when the description was 1 1/4 inches wide (1.26 inches). One of the pins had not been properly formed also.

Received the two pieces and one was not completed on its end, having a burr along the edge. It was also not round so I had to put it into the vice to make it round and also grind off the edge burr. After doing that, it fit the scaffolding hole.

So they call these spring retainer pins but they don’t come with the spring retainer. The last pic is what a spring retainer pin looks like with its spring side by side with these. They come wrapped in pairs of 2, with bags around each one and each pair making for very well protected pins… despite that many are visibly out of round. They are pretty lightweight steel, but not really too concerned since there isn’t really that much lateral strength needed to hold up scaffolding. They don’t fit my 5’ frames, I think they are meant for the masonry style bigger frames? My fault for not double checking diameter.

I have a few pins that are rusty so I figured these cheap 8-pack of scaffolding pins would be great to have on hand. They are cheaply made and very thin but I didn’t expect much since they are not structurally supporting anything horizontally. I am no scaffolding expert… so maybe it’s just me… or the 3 types of scaffolding I own… but these just don’t fit right. These have a spacer/collar that doesn’t sit flat. My pins do not have these collars and allows the scaffolding to rest on top of each other. Please see the pictures to understand. The title also states “spring retainers” but do not come with any but my old ones did fit.Unfortunately, these will not work for me nor do they fit the 3 different name brands of masonry scaffolding I own. I do not know what types of scaffolding these are intended for. I wish I could at least say the quality was great, but they are truly just “meh…”
