I am super happy with this purchase. The lamp is about the size of a grapefruit and it has a contemporary look, the outside plastic has facets like a diamond.If you leave that plastic case on, then you see the little planets projected against the facets. If you take off the shell, the planets project beautifully onto the ceiling and walls. It’s really an interesting sight.The first button controls what color LED is shining through the films, and the second button controls the brightness. If you hold the second button down, that starts the rotation. Please notice this point in the directions, I did not notice it at first.This is lovely in my infant’s room, perfect to see in the dark when I am feeding her in the middle of the night. It’s also wonderful in the library we have outside our bedroom, to see when we are walking around at night to do those feedings, haha.My four-year-old also wants this in her room because it is so beautiful. This is a great buy, a good price, and you will not be disappointed if you order one. I’m very glad I ordered it, and I’m very happy with the quality.

I’m a sucker for a quality product. I’ve got to admit that although this doesn’t feel like a great quality plastic, the results are quite beautiful. The night light works as expected and it has several different setting for warm light, white light, blue and even an orange and blue combined. It has 3 different options to dim the lights to your desired brightness, as well as an option to make it turn and have the galaxy go around the room. It includes 3 different inserts with planets, stars and a happy birthday one that I believe a little one would love to add on their special day.You have the option of using batteries as well as connecting with a USB port to the wall. The cable is quite short so it does limit the placing of the light but that doesn’t take away from the projection in general. If placed with batteries in the middle of the room you can get the full on effect on the ceiling, or it can just be plugged to the wall and will project closer to that area.Overall the results are quite great and my son loves it, and me and my husband love staring at it too. I would definitely recommend.

Overall, this is an awesome product. The interchangeable screens are great for a diffrent and fun look. The options of the light pattterns are great as well as the ability for it to rotate or not. The different levels of brightness are also a plus and if you use the batteries it is easy to tell when they need to be replaced due to it not being as bright. The only thing that I do not like is that the stars are not as clear on the ceiling and there is now ay to adjust for the sharpness and it does have a constant noise, though not anything unbearable, when it rotates.

We bought this for our toddler son to help him want to stay in his bed at night. It does it’s job but it could improve a bit.Pros: 1) Multiple colors of lights to choose from.2) It rotates.3) Various film choices you can easily rotate out.4) Three different settings to adjust the brightness of the lights.5) Simple to use.6) Doesn’t break the bank.Cons: 1) Power cable is a foot long usb cable. I had to find a usb outlet converter that wasn’t already in use. After one night I opted for batteries so we could put it in the center of the room to get the full effect.2) The dome cover has a variety of angles on it that obscure the stars from being very clear on the ceiling. We’ve left it off so we can actually see the stars on the ceiling.3) The ring to secure the film for the top of the light comes off easily and doesn’t protect the film very well. Without using the top dome, little toddler fingers have easy access to the film and it’s a miracle we haven’t lost the ring yet. Let’s be honest though, even with the top dome on, he can easily take it off and get to the inner workings of the lights and films.4) No timer for auto-shut off... I have to remember to go in and turn it off.5) It has 2 buttons which have multiple functions and aren’t labeled so they are tricky to figure out if you don’t read the instructions or forget what they do.In all, it’s alright. It wasn’t that expensive but I would have hoped for something a lil more durable and with features that actually made sense (1ft power cable, angled dome, etc.). It’s only been about a month that we’ve had this so I don’t know how long it will last, but if I were to have to buy this again I would opt for another option.

I bought 2 of these lights, one for each kid's room. They absolutely LOVE them. The lights have 3 LEDs inside. One is white, one is yellow/orange, and one is blue. You can turn on either one color, a combo of two colors, all three colors, or the colors continually rotating. My kids love the yellow/orange and blue together.The lights have 3 brightness settings. I make them use LOW, bc it's pretty bright. HIGH is insanely bright. Don't be confused by the 2 buttons with no labels. One button turns on the lights. The other changes the brightness. When you hold down one of the buttons, the inner ring starts to spin, and then the magic happens.The dome comes off and then it's a whole new nightlight bc of the interchangeable films inside. They are a lot like old fashioned (my childhood lol) negatives There are 3 sets of films included, stars, stars and planets, and even Happy Birthday films. So fun! The films are easy to change by removing a ring that clips on top.One thing I would change is the cord length. The plug in cord is ridiculously short. An extension cord is absolutely necessary. Enjoy!
