XtratufMen's 15 Inch Legacy Boot

I started wearing this boot in the 1980's. While I've tried other boots over the years, this is the one I keep going back to. I don't think they are made as tough as they used to be, but not much is. Nothing else I've tried is as comfortable and dependable in my opinion.

I know these are made in China (what isn't today?) and I've never had a pair of the "original" ones but these boots are the best. I use them for around the house, boating, fishing, whatever else requires a waterproof shoe. I live in the South so I needed something that my feet wouldn't sweat like crazy and are comfortable. I've had other boots and either they rub on the back of you heel or make you feet sweat - these don't! I really like the sole because they don't track mud everywhere like other boots.

I wear these once a week on my volunteer shifts at a marine mammal hospital. We're constantly walking through puddles, animal poop, and foot baths with a bleach-like substance which has destroyed other boots I've tried in the past. These have held up really well and stay completely dry inside. I have another pair of these that I've worn out on boat trips, where my feet have been submerged in several inches of water for hours on end, and again, I've stayed completely dry.

Paid for these boots for work in Alaska, paid full price for brand new boots and received old used boots they even had soles that someone already used for them in the inside, truly feel ripped off don’t have enough time to send them back because I literally leave in 3 days for work
