Works well for running Windows programs on a Mac computer. Just not sure it’s worth a yearly subscription.

It installed windows but nothing works properly because the product key isn’t valid for windows. Now windows is saying I have to buy it to use it!

I don’t understand why this is a yearly subscription. You should be able to buy it make one payment and use it for as long as you own your computer.

I purchased this to run 32 bit apps after Mojave. The VM was buggy and unstable. It could not open images in either iPhoto or Photos and could not open documents in Pages. The VM eventually crashed and would not restart after 2 weeks of use. I had to completely erase my IMac HD and restore from a Time Machine backup. If you want to keep your 32 bit apps running, don’t “upgrade” past Yosemite.

You can pick up a Windows computer and run any software on it for one price.

Previous perpetually-licensed copies of Parallels Desktop could be downloaded outside a lab and then installed inside a lab because installation/activation only required a valid Product Key.Verzion 18 _even perpetually-licensed copies_ now requires a live Internet connection so Parallels Desktop can no longer be installed inside a lab ... or even used on lab computers which are unable to be temporarily moved outside a lab. This is a significant reduction of features.
