As good as Toyota OEM shielding
As good as OEM Toyota shielding. I would definitely buy it again, and I want it on my shop shelf always.

Replaces Rusted Heat Shield
I replaced all the heat shield on my (midwest) 2002 tahoe, if you know you know. Been a couple months and 1 winter and it's still as good as when I put it on.

Great alternative to crappy Ford parts
The exhaust heat shield for the muffler on my 2018 Ford Transit 150 was cracked in numerous places originating from the two mounting points. The OEM shield is poorly mounted so it just flips back and forth working it from the bolts. Ford actually uses materials similar to this sheet forward and rear of the exhaust shield but they instead used a big floppy piece of aluminum sheet metal. I didn’t feel like paying $100 for another shield that would ultimately fail. Instead I used the sheet as pictured and formed it similarly enough to the old one before fitting it. It’s smaller, yes, but still protects where it is needed. There are a couple spots under the van to the rear that I will be covering with some stick on exhaust shield sheet. I really appreciate that this stuff is sold, because it worked so well for me.

This stuff is legit - Very Thick - Same OEM look for European Cars & BMW
We are restoring a 1980 BMW 635csi and it was missing the rear fuel tank muffler heat shield. I purchased this hoping it was close to the OE shielding. It is very close. It came rolled up fairly tight so you will have to unroll it. I used my body to bend back 2ft sections at a time. Once I manipulated it a bit with the bender you won't even notice.I used a metal straight edge to make my bends by hand. Then used a large pair of tin snips to trim out the outside edges. After that, I used a bead roller I purchased here on Amazon and rolled the edges. After I was done with the beard rolling it made it much more rigid. I just wish they sold it in larger quantities. Either way, I'm going to buy some more of this for our next project for sure. I'll also have some to have on hand, just incase I need to make something like this again..

controls heat
Good heat control, I had installed headers on my car and even with the ceramic coating I was still having some heat issues with my fuel lines. First I tried the stick on heat shielding but really did fix the heat issues I was having. So I bought a roll of this stuff. The price was good and you get imho a good amount of product. It's fairly easy to work with tin snips will cut the product and bends well. I would say that it might be a good idea when working with it get some leather gloves as the edges and corners can be sharp. Before installing it I would roll the edge over on its self so you don't cut your self at a later time when working on your car.As far as performance I put a shield of this between my header pipes and the frame where my fuel rails run and it has dropped the temps of my fuel rails. In summer with my non contact thermometer I seen the fuel rail get as high as 156 degrees now with the heat shield installed during the summer the rails never get over maybe 90 degrees. This material with the dimpled surface helps deflect a lot of heat away from what your trying to protect.
