Rugged Ridge Switch Panel for Jeep Wrangler JK | Thermoplastic Olefin (TPO), Black | 17235.85 | Fits 2007-2010 Jeep Wrangler JK

As I looked at various options for switches to control my bumper light bar, I found this one that includes a panel to replace the blank factory panel below the section containing my hazard light and other switches (which couldn't easily be expanded on). This panel and switch option (you don't see the accompanying panel in the picture here) gives my switches a factory look, while functioning as designed. I also like the light indicator to tell me when something is on! There are zero dislikes for this product from me!

It’s amazing that for the price of this item that the holes where not punched out at the factory. I couldn’t find one prefinish so I had no choice. It was fairly easy to cut but also fairly easy to screw up. You need to take your time. If you get ahead of your self, it will come out bad. The front has a cover that resembles carbon fiber. More like a cloth screen cover. This is where the hang ups could happen. From experience, you need a fresh razor blade.But over all if you take your time it will look good and solid at the end.

This is a great switch panel assembly. Even though it's designed for a Jeep, I used it in my 2005 GMC 2500HD truck, to control my overhead rotating beacons, dual LED back-up lights, and back-up beeper, all which I use when plowing snow (and did we plow a lot of snow in NH this past winter).The switches and housing are very robust and I only had to install a small bracket on my truck to accomodate this switch panel. The color and texture match perfectly with my GMC and people think it came with the truck. Nice product.

While the picture of the product show it will all the switches already installed, that is not the case. You still have to take a box knife and carve out the "knock outs" yourself. Once that's done (and done carefully) it will look exactly like the picture. I installed this on my 2010 Jeep Wrangler JK, and it fits perfectly! I'm only giving the product 4 stars because they could have given better directions (like ANY directions) on which pole was which on the switches. I wired up a set of Rugged Ridge 100W Off Road Lights, and it worked great. I do like Rugged Ridge products, and I do like the convenience of ordering them on Amazon!

Very nice switches, easy to install. I drilled very small holes in each corner and then used a cheap utility knife to cut out the large blank. Then cut away the excess a round the edges.Thanks guys

Just put these in today and they look great! I think they will be a very good addition to my Jeep.

This is a very nice addition. The switches look good once installed and the switch plate installs easily by replacing an existing blank panel. I am only using two of the switches right now they they are there in a well-organized fashion for future additions.Now the bad news - the picture shows the switches installed in the plate so one would assume that is what you get. That is NOT the way they come. You get the 4 switches and you have to cut the plate to install the switches yourself (which is not really easy because this is tough stuff). This is tedious and time consuming. The item description should clearly state that you have to install the switches yourself. Additionally, there isn't any documentation showing which of the poles on the switch are hot, ground, and neutral. Not difficult to figure out really but it would be nice to know right up front which leg is hot and which leg is ground. That would make installation faster too.One thing to note too - the indicator lights are not subtle (which is probably a good thing). If a switch is on the indicator light is very bright and easy to see even in direct sunlight.
