However, the Kettle Gryp has proven to be a cost-effective solution that is saving me money in a big way.Gym equipment can often come with a hefty price tag, so finding a versatile and affordable tool like the Kettle Gryp has been a game-changer for me. The device is incredibly simple to use and has held up well even with my 45lb dumbbells.I highly recommend the Kettle Gryp to anyone looking to expand their home gym equipment without breaking the bank. It's a practical and efficient tool that allows for a seamless transition from dumbbell to kettlebell exercises.

TLDR: great product, does what it intends, really handy; however, it might fall short of locking the dumbbell’s rotation if its handle is on the thin side.To the manufacturer: this product would get a solid 5-star if it was better at preventing the (on axis) rotation of dumbbells with thinner handles, for instance by including removable rubber pads (in order to adjust the inside diameter).As already pointed out by other reviewers, this product is really great overall.However, it comes short of fully locking my dumbbells in place, since they are fairly thin (1” handle, if I recall correctly). They won’t escape of course, but can rotate on their axis. This might not seem like a big deal, but it actually is. This means in particular that the energy of some parts of the movements (eg the brutal deceleration at the bottom of a swing) can be substantially transferred to the weights (through their rotation) instead of one’s body; this in turn significantly changes the resistance profile of an exercise. For instance, I use it for explosive swings, and after fixing the rotation issue (see below), I almost got knocked off my feet — which never happened previously. The exercise was now way more challenging.Bonus tip: if you encounter this problem, I’d recommend wrapping your dumbbell handle with rubber or similar material before locking it. I’ve used an (already damaged) resistance band (a big one) with great success, carefully wrapping it around the handle. This might damage the rubber, though.Bonus tip 2: if you use adjustable dumbbells, you also have to make sure that the weights can’t rotate wrt the dumbbell axis. This includes making sure they don’t unlock halfway through a set, but unfortunately one side will probably keep unlocking (that’s just physics). I’ve solved this problem on mine by adding a second pair of locks, and this keeps the first ones from moving. Hope this helps.

I like this as originally bought for my wife. Having this helps save you from buying more equipment and saves space within your workout area.

Love this for not having to buy a whole set of kettle bells. I already own plenty of weights and this works great to turn them into kettle bell form. I was a little skeptical when purchasing if this would work with my weights and they fit perfectly. Amazing product!!

So far so good. Good way to save some legal tender ...

I bought this bc my building's gym has lots of weights but no kettle bells. This is good for some exercises, a little unwieldy for others, and unusable for more still. And while it fits the 10lb weight in my gym's set, it does not fit the 15 lb weight, which is frustrating. I discovered that after I'd used it so cannot send it back. Also, you really need to make sure that it's snapped closed tightly each time because it's not always apparent that it's locked. Dangerous as hell if you pick it up after you've left it unlocked. Always check if you're changing weights. Would suggest that manufacturers have a visual, two lines on the base and the clasp that line up, so there is a cue.
