I thought that it would be a simple plug in and plug in your earplugs and done. Wasn’t that simple for me with my tv. It was extremely loud when I plugged it into the TV and my earphones into it, with my volume control not changing the volume.Turns out I had to switch my TV to headphones and then I was able to control the volume.Now works great.

I'm not going to be too hard on this - it's pretty cheap, and feels fairly well put together, and initially worked fine. It's now failed but I suspect a lot of the blame for that falls upon my son who is fairly adept at breaking things! Still, it only lasted two months so I'll try another brand for the replacement.

I bought this in July last year and use it every daywent to use it today...mono sound, I checked the headphones directly to the TV(correct audio) TV, I checked both ends of the connection, still mono from the cableI flicked the cable about while audio was playing and stereo would intermittently come back before cutting out to mono again, so something is broken along the line and not at the connectersAt least when the crappy Amazon Basic cables die, they have the decency to do it at one of the connectorsbraided cables really are garbage and more prone to breaking what's inside them

I use this product to extend my headphones from my TV. The length is great and I really love the braided cord. It works excellent and no loss of sound quality. Would definitely buy again.

I purchased this in the color red because I have to step over it sometimes and my last extension cord I tripped over and bent the pin. This has worked well for me and I have no trouble hearing over my headphones. I highly recommend it.
