Lots of fun. Great value.
It was a present for my grandson's 6th birthday. He loves ships; he has several pirate ships, an inflatable Titanic. This is the only merchant vessel. He was thrilled! He took it home. He was having so much fun with it that I purchased another one, to play together! That was 8 months ago. He's still interested and enjoys it.Over the summer we used it in the inflatable swimming pool. It floats well; doesn't take in any water, is easy to dry. It is also quite resilient; after many a tumble, and falls: no cracks, no chips, nothing broken. Tough toy!The versatility is a wonderful plus: the 9 magnetic pieces allow for many varied combinations on the deck (10th piece). Various types of ships can be created. Unused pieces may figure half sunken parts of derelics or wrecks that have to be retrieved. The deck is large enough to allow plastic soldiers, pirates, animals, wooden or lego blocks to be transported, even while floating --at their peril, though. And the 3 colors are happy enjoyable ones.Without adult or siblings involvement, without a minimum of guidance and imagination, any toy can quickly become boring, stale. This one never was. Interest in it hasn't waned. I wish similar such ships would be marketed. Great toy!

Fun for small children
Nice toy but not difficult enough for my 5 yr old grandson. But fun in the tub. Overall good toy.

Great bathtub toy
The other reviews have this puppy covered: It's a great toy both in and out of the water (the little wheels at the bottom let it roll on a flat surface). I especially like that all the pieces float, and that it comes with more pieces than can actually fit on the boat at once (so you always have a spare in case one piece gets lost).A big 'thank you' to the reviewer "toskye," whose pictures helped me make the decision to buy this toy for my toddler daughter.Nautical engineers, take note: my boat floats, and is sealed to not let water in, and is irresistibly cute and all, but it actually CAN and does capsize, particularly when the tallest piece (the two-story cabin) is on it and has another piece on top. Even when it doesn't capsize, it can list noticeably to one side or the other when similarly loaded. Gotta lower that center of gravity, cap'n!Oh, go ahead and roll your eyes: it's a TOY, for crying out loud! I know, I know. I'm just sayin'.Bottom line: It's fun.

Cool
My son likes playing with this. You can change it anyway you want and it’s a great bathtub toy. The magnets stay on pretty well. Worth it.

Super cute
I am always looking for a new boat toy for my kiddo and this one was really neat.Being able to manipulate the peices to make several different variations was very appealing to him. It's a pretty creative toy, I do recommend.
