1 X BUDDLEIA Tricolour Butterfly Bush Mixed Colours Healthy Garden Plant in Pot

I’ve been looking at buying a tri coloured buddleia for a while. I’d dug out an old pampas grass and wanted something that would attract the butterflies and bees and look pretty. The area I’d got was a metre square and I didn’t want a shrub that was too big when fully grown. It’s in full sun/ partial shade which is what a buddleia needs. I saw this on Amazon and as I’d been unable to source one at the local garden centre I decided to order it. It came well packaged, inside a strong box and the plant was potted and wrapped in plastic. It arrived the next day after dispatch so not too long for it to be wrapped up. The soil around the root was damp and the plant looks healthy and robust. It had lost a few leaves but I expected that and the plant itself had held up remarkably well. It stood about 8 inch tall and I soaked the pot for a couple of hours and then planted it in nutrient rich soil with a a little vermiculite and some grit to ensure free drainage. A few days down the line it’s looking great. Obviously you need to ensure newly planted shrubs don’t dry out so I’ve kept an eye on the watering. A buddleia doesn’t like standing in the wet so I’ve been careful not to over water. Obviously it’s going to take a few years to grow up but I’d be hopeful for a few flowers next year. I will be clipping mine once it’s big enough to ensure it doesn’t grow too big. As you do this in late winter/ early spring I probably won’t do it this year as I doubt it will have any woody stems to chop off. I’m really pleased with this shrub. Normally I do like to choose my plants ‘face to face’ but I’m impressed with the quality of this and based on this experience I’d order other plants online again. Plus it was a very good price for something that will be a joy in the garden hopefully for many years to come

Plants appeared very dry on delivery a few leaves weee brown and curled.Very small plant has not flowered yet so can’t comment further.

Well when I first had this plant it was tiny ! Now it’s huge and fully taking over my garden .. it hasn’t flowered yet but it’s just growing so well in all weather ♥️

This arrived and I've held off review to give it a chance but it's awful. No growth. Not a single leaf. Just stick. Very very disappointed. Purchased the butterfly plant in march and it arrived with no foliage and now end of may still.nothing.

Easy to plant, so easy to grow, it's just getting it'self ready for spring having grown into quite a fair sized bush.

Looking forward to seeing this plant bloom.I had an issue with the plant that was responded to so quickly and nicely.I will certainly buy more plants from this seller and would certainly recommend them.
