Mary Meyer Taggies Buddy Dog Character Blanket

My daughter has chosen favored baby items from each of her children, as gifts for others when attending baby showers. She has a nice list of items that fall in all price ranges. This adorable and favored over other toys by baby, falls in a very affordable range. We have attended baby showers and when the recipient opens their gift, someone will comment that we had gotten them the same item and how their new baby loved it. Happy baby, happy mother.

I’ve ordered several different lovies and this is the one my son took to immediately! He loves the tags. There are two different textures - super soft and silky smooth. I have a feeling I’ll be ordering duplicates in the future.

Bought this for my little guy when he was about 3 months old. I noticed he really loved playing with the tag of his Wubbanub pacifier. This little toy has become his favorite. He takes it everywhere we go, and can get a really good grip on it with his tiny hands. He's almost 5 months now, and it's great for sensory development. The top is soft and fuzzy, like velour, and the underside is similar to satin. He recognizes his puppy at first sight and has learned how to comfort himself better with it. He likes to chew on it and loves hooking his fingers into the different tags. A great purchase to help our little guy while he's in this developmental phase.

My son's favorite to hold onto when he's about to take a nap. He loves his Buddy.------------2017 UPDATE------------I first purchased "Buddy" in 2014, and have since gotten 2 more (only so my son always has a clean "Buddy")! My son recently turned 3 years old, and he still sleeps with his "Buddy". In fact, he sleeps with all 3 of them, unless one is in the wash.They're extremely durable and are made to last! I will only put them in the washing machine then lay them out flat to dry.I highly recommend this taggie toy/mini security blanket for both newborns and toddlers!------------2022 UPDATE------------My son turned 8 years old in May and we still have all 3 buddies. They've lasted through countless washes (and I did start putting them in the dryer too) over the 7+ years we've had them and they haven't faded or anything. We've only had 2 tags come off on 2 of the buddies, both in the same place (right ear). We simply sewed one back on and who knows where the other lost tag went.I'm adding pictures of them now just to show how durable they truly are! I'll also include a pic showing the buddy with no lost tags along with the ones where we lost a tag and sewed the other back on (check their right ears). My son's favorite is the one with the tag we sewed back on because it's a bit longer than the rest - go figure!

Little niece needed something to hold while she lay in bed with a cold. I saw this and forwarded it out to my sister, the pictures I received were priceless as my niece adored her little gift. My sister said the colors were bright and it didn't smell like chemicals, which is a big deal with new mommies. Gave this as a gift to a friend that had just had a baby. I had purchased one 2 years ago for my grandson and he loves it. So this was a easy decision to make for a gift. The puppy is soft and cuddly my grandson takes it with him to bed every night and when he naps…His mom likes it also because it’s so easy to wash& dry.

Puppy wasn't the first lovie we introduced, but he's the one we can't go anywhere without. He's been through the washer and dryer every two weeks for around a year now, been taken outside, dropped in gravel and stepped on, and taken from the dog a handful of times. This week, I found a single fuzz coming out where the head meets the blankie, but all stitches are firmly in place. The ears are the perfect size to chew on or hold while thumb sucking. He's the perfect trading tool too - baby has Mom's phone? Here's Puppy. Playing in the dog bowls? Go get Puppy. Works. Every. Time. I purchased a back-up just in case something ever happens to him.
