Very good product.....It works for what it was intended.

Started taking it a few weeks ago and feel like it has helped with energy level.

I was viewing an exercise/nutrition video for a program which I really had no intention of purchasing - it was geared toward pre and post menopausal women so I was curious to hear how the "inventor" of the program was explaining and addressing the issues we women of that age face. They mentioned "estrogen overload" so I started to research that and that is when I came across information about Indole-3-Carbinol - where it is found in nature and what it might help. I also read that it may help lower estrogen levels which might ease some of the pre-menopausal symptoms I face. I've had very mild night sweats for years but over the last several months it got really bad - to the point I was wearing athletic clothing to bed to help wick away the moisture because it was waking me up so much. I've been taking one pill daily for a month now and I am no longer having night sweats at all....and they stopped soon after I started taking it. I'm not certain exactly how long it took - it just dawned on me one day soon after starting that I wasn't having night sweats any more. I am still getting warm at night, but nothing that wakes me up and no sweating so I am very happy. I don't think I notice any other benefit or side effects from taking it - but many of the benefits I've read about wound't necessarily be felt - like possibly reducing the likelihood of some cancers. While I love most of the vegetables that this is found in, it is so much easier to to be consistent with symptom relief when taking a daily pill so I will continue taking it. I read many reviews before ordering and there was a lot of mention of the mothball smell/taste with this product - that is definitely true, but I got over it pretty quick. I take 2 other daily supplements and often a daily allergy pill, so I make sure to down this one first and then the others and drink lots of water and I never even taste it anymore.

EDIT: Although Amazon doesn't allow returns on these types of items, I decided to email the company directly, and I am impressed with their customer service. Sam responded immediately to my complaint and issued me a quick refund. The problem with my bottle seemed to be that the inner seal did not seal properly, thus causing the capsules to dry out in storage. They shrivel up inside the capsule, turn dark brown, and lose that funky smell. So if you get a bottle similar, this is probably the issue. It's not a common occurrence, but sometimes things go wrong in production/handling/shipping/etc. Email them, they stand behind their products and are a great company to deal with! Back on track!These are not the same capsules that I've been getting for about 6 months now, which were good to go until now. I don't usually leave bad reviews for mistakes that can be corrected, but now that I got ripped off and can't return them for a refund... The product is either different or so old and/or stored improperly that they dried up/dehydrated and changed from the usual beige color with a foul odor, to a dark brown color and no odor at all. The powdery substance inside has hardened into one solid piece, and the inside seal on the bottle was broken(probably the cause of the dry-up). Quality control! I don't trust these anymore... UPDATED REVIEW (December 2019): I had my annual PAP smear earlier this month and it finally came back negative! The gynecological standards for my age group have changed, so now that I've had a negative one, I do not need another PAP for three years. The only thing that I've changed over the last two years since my two positive tests was adding these supplements to my daily intake. I know the body can eventually clear it, but I'd like to think this supplement helped it along. Still haven't had any digestive upset with these. If you're on the fence about trying this particular supplement, I'd give it a try! I'll still be taking these even with my negative results.ORIGINAL REVIEW (February 2019): I ordered this supplement because I was recently diagnosed with HPV and my primary doctor suggested this supplement after two abnormal PAP tests. Both colposcopy's were negative (thank goodness!), but were painful and I'm hoping this supplement will help slow the changes. I bought this brand based off the most people reviewing it and the most positive reviews. Initially worried about the smell being a turn-off, but I don't really notice it. I am also sensitive to roasted cauliflower when eaten, so I was worried about digestive upset. Haven't had any so far (I take the supplement with my breakfast, or if I forget, with dinner). I've been taking it for about a month but the real test will be my next PAP test this October, I'll try to remember to update.
