This is a broom and dust pan that I don't need to hide away. Beautiful natural materials and a wonderful design. I like that the brush attaches to the dust pan with a magnet. I will enjoy looking at and using this set.

Practical & pretty with a farm feel

Both the brush and dust pan are well made to last a long time. I can't ask for more. I'm so tired of plastic. Plastic things break and don't last nearly long enough. With the dust pan being made of wood, we could even repair it some day if it ever breaks, which I really don't expect it to.

Great product!Helpful with those hard to sweep or vacuum areas . I also use it for cold ashes in fireplaces .

I like this better than the other version dustpan and brush that Redecker offers. The brush is wider than the opening of this dustpan....that is the main defect preventing this from being perfect. it is a strange design choice by Redecker.

PROS: Beautiful design. Sturdy. Nice, medium-soft brush. The magnet is a nice touch.CONS: All metal edges are VERY sharp. Arrived with completely different leather tied onto each handle--this was obviously designed to be functional AND look upscale, but this is a very noticeable mistake. Luckily it's easily replaced. Set arrived with several small dents in the brush handle and the dustpan was scratched up around the magnet due to poor packaging, I assume. None of the wood was sanded enough, there are minor rough spots all over the place.None of these things are that big of a deal, but the high price definitely does not reflect the quality.

The dustpan arrived with a serious dent, and a crack in the base where the pan is screwed in. Also, there is a garish white appliqué in the pan, with an arrow in the direction in which dust is swept on to it. This does not show up at all in the photo on Amazon. At first I thought it might be peelable, but it did not come off as easily as it should in that case. Also; If it is oiled, it doesn't appear to be; aesthetically, it might as well be bare wood. Then, when I logged on to return it, I realized I'd paid $73 for it; I'm not sure how that happened — I thought I'd paid $20-something for it (granted, I was rushing). All in all, be careful.
