Sharp and accurate bit for 5/8-18 threads.
It's the proper size for tapping 5/8-18 threads. I put it to use 5 minutes after arrival and cut a few holes in cold-rolled steel. It's sharp and accurately sized.

Looks to be of good quality. I purchased this to drill holes in pvc and it worked as it should.

Drill bit has a bend - unusable.
This drill bit came with a “bend” in it. Installed it in drill press and it had a wobble so bad we couldn’t even begin to use it. Took it out and laid it on flat surface and it definitely was the bit, not the press. We ended up going local and buying a bit as we couldn’t wait another 2 days to finish a job. There were absolutely no signs of damage, or anything to the bit.

Sharp
This is the sharpest drill bit I recall using. I slowly drilled through a piece of steel that might have been 1/16" thick and it removed metal shavings from the hole on every revolution of the bit.

Go Slow
If you want your drill bits to last...Start with the smallest bit and work your way up.Drill slow. Forget drilling at any speed other than slow.The bit will not dull, if you are cutting into metal. If you drill too fast you can ruin even the best drill bits.The best part about advice is... it's FREE and you can take it or leave it.
