I like it is light weight. I use it to handel hot crucibal.

Good size for hobby use. Nice quality.

so i got a pair of these to handle my 16kg crucible . They seem to fit just barely around the cup and when full with the weight of the tongs presents a challenge after all your gloved up from the extreme heat , but over all workable im putting a push down wedge on my pair to keep a grip on the crucible in order to use both hands for the pour i think that addition will help these alot anyway would recomment to anyone with large hands and a strong grip

This item is bulky and clumsey to handle. I found out the hard way where not to position my hand. My hand got pinched between two pieces of metal at the end of the handle.
