Great little kettle
Bought this kettle to use on our camping stove at the allotments and it does the job well with no annoying drips from the spout when pouring. Helps keep us going with nice hot cuppas and the buttons to open/close spout helps to prevent any scalds/burns when about to pour after boiling. So far, 10/10 as not had it for long.

Works brilliantly and looks lovely
Great value stovetop kettle. Whistles loudly once up to boil. Some slight discolouration caused by the gas hob but doesn’t stop it from doing its job so overall very pleased with this. Will come in handy during power cuts and cheaper than using the electric kettle these days!

Looks nice but it’s not safe to use
It’s a good basic kettle. There’s only one thing , in my mind, you need to be aware of and that is a certain amount of spitting boiling water out as you initially pour water out into a cup or bowl.Just be careful, it can spit boiling water over whatever you’re using to hold the cup or bowl…. in my case it was my hand!Luckily I had a washing up bowl of cold water into which I immediately plunged my left hand so no damage done. I am now very cautious to gently let the boiling water hiss and spit, if it’s going to, away from me.Two more problems have arisen in the month after purchasing it.First a pin has fallen out of the spout srea and the cap spring is loose.Secondly the cap on the kettle slips open when you tilt it while pouring boiling water out and my right hand got scalded by the escaping steam.I don’t recommend you buying this kettle now: it looks nice but it’s not safe to use

It boils water, but doesn’t whistle every time, got to stay near it otherwise it will boil dry.
It looks okay and is quite light, but when it boils it doesn’t always whistle just chugs away misting up the kitchen window. But it works and gives you hot water, as long as you don’t mind standing around.
