Great product!
I’m new to the menstrual cup world, so I was nervous when I started looking into brands. I was afraid I’d choose something that wouldn’t work for me since I have a very heavy periods (have had four children) and a tilted uterus. I’m happy to say this product worked for me. The cup is very well made and feels really sturdy. I read other reviews that said they always thought they had a heavy period until they tried a menstrual cup and realized barely anything was in the cup at the end of the day - that has not been my experience. When I say I have heavy periods I mean I have to change super+ tampons 8-10 times a day on the first full day of my cycle. With the cup I’m changing about four times a day, so there’s improvement. After my heaviest day it slows down to twice a day then once towards the end. I will say, you might not get the hang of this your first cycle. It took me until my second cycle to get comfortable with inserting and removing the cup. Watch YouTube videos - they’ll help a lot! I found a few that were very informative and helpful. If you can feel the cup with the tip, just cut it off. I read several reviews where women had to cut the tip off so I don’t think it’s uncommon.Pros: seems to shorten my period by a day or two!Hygienic, no smellLots of money saved since Cup is reusableCannot feel it when inserted properlyLess changes than tampons/padsCons: the concept of a menstrual cup itself is a little odd to me. I like the benefits but I don’t love inserting and removing the cup, you get very up close and personal with yourself.-Cleaning the cup isn’t bad, just an extra step you wouldn’t have with tampons-definitely not easy to remove and re insert in a public restroom. You need privacy, a sink to rinse, and a little extra time-it is slightly painful when inserting and removing. It’s not that bad and once you know what to expect it’s not a big deal, but it is different (larger) than a tampon-strong learning curve. You’re just not going to get the hang of this right away. Hang in there, it gets easierTips: like I said before, watch YouTube videos. They will help so much!-My favorite way to insert the cup is in the shower. I can clean it, squat in the shower and insert, and it’s like I’m not even on my period! Especially if it’s a day where my flow is light, I just remove before bed and feel totally normal otherwise.-don’t splurge on the expensive washes. I use cetaphil and it works perfectly-don’t over boil. I saw lots of reviews saying they boiled theirs three minutes every day. This will cause it to break down quicker, and you really don’t need to do that. It’s a medical grade silicone, it’s not holding a bunch of germs. I think the instructions say to insert in just boiled water for thirty seconds, not in straight up boiling water - and only after your period ends.- I also mentioned this above, but you may need to cut the top off the bottom of the cup. I could feel the cup with the tip so I did cut it and it now works fine. It does make removal a little tricky, but it greatly improves comfort. So overall I’d give the actual product five stars for being so durable, coming in lots of bright colors, and including a cute storage pouch. Ease of use is more like three stars in the beginning, but that’s not the company’s fault. Once you get the hang of it you’ll know soon enough whether or not it’s something you want to use. Personally I use it most of the time but there are very light days when I just insert a tampon bc it’s quicker, easier, and less messy/intrusive. Hope this helps!

Love it!
Not sure why I did not know about these things when I was younger! I’ve been on the Mirena for the last six years with no menstrual cycle so after having major side effects in my second one I made the decision to remove it. Which in turn resulted in me getting my monthly Aunt Flo again. Ugh. Was not excited at all about pads or tampons and how unpredictable my body can be. Pads always crinkle and smell and tampons leak like crazy, smell, and hurt at times. So I did my due diligence and found the Blossom. After two cycles of using it I feel I can give a good review. Here are some things I love about the blossom:- Only leaked once in the very beginning of using it. (I had super heavy flow at night and got up and it leaked once, which was my own fault I forgot to empty it before bed because I forgot I had it in! Yes in my opinion super comfy)- First try it went in without a hitch. No issue. (Practice with it at home and in shower and read directions at first to get it in right)- At first I’d check my cup every couple hours cause I was worried I was going to leak like a tampon. And nope! None. Yes it can look like a bloody massacre when you empty it but it doesn’t smell like tampons and I honestly feel so much cleaner than I would using tampons or pads.- comes in pretty colors (not that it really matters)- Easy to cleanI will be purchasing another for a back up. My sister bought one to give it a try. I can not stop recommending t to my friends as I forget I’m even on a period at times. I am cramping less, don’t have to change it nearly as much as a tampon. (You know your body and how often you may need to empty it) once in morning and before bed and occasionally midday for me is plenty just cause I wear kacki a a lot and my brain is still in the mode of tampons that leak if you do not change often. But a wash for it. I also bout a sanatizjng cup for end of my cycle to put boiling water in it to help sterilize it. I also just pack a summer eves feminize wipes and a small water bottle in my bag if I know I’m going to be out in public restrooms that aren’t so private to be able to rinse. The wipes will just ensure your clean.Long story short these are awesome and make Aunt Flo bareable. Eco friendly and good for being out in woods etc.Give it a try. If this one isn’t for you try another. I will never ever go back to tampons. I’m a user of this for as long as I got the curse. Happy shopping!

So I bought this at the end of my last period because tampons are just not working for me anymore. They leak after an hour or so,they are uncomfortable, and sometimes I'm pretty the tampon is going in crooked (if that's even possible) Well today was the day when my cycle started so I was extra excited to give this contraption a go! AMAZING absolutely AMAZING!! I had little issue with the insertion part (kinda seemed to good to be true) I was curious all morning if I was leaking ( I had a 2.5hour drive this morning) so I went to the bathroom as soon as I got to my destination and NOTICED NOTHING - COMPLETELY DRY - NO LEAKS NOT EVEN A SPECK!! I kept checking every hour or so and still nothing till around Hour 9 did I have a very minor speck of a leakage. I emptied it and re inserted and back on the road I went home. I am a very happy customers! HIGHLY RECOMMEND FOR EVERY MENSTRUATING FEMALE!
