Replacement Battery for HP Pavilion
The replacement battery came in perfect condition, it fit as expected and functions as it should. The only issue I had is that the installation instructions were confusing. Thank goodness for you tube videos--we were able to install it battery with no issues.

So Far So Good!
OEM battery is at the top of the pic. OEM had what feels like a heat shrink plastic covering the lithiom ion polymer cells where as this replacement is more of a reinforced tape. My 2018 HP Pavilion X360 would be fully charged but many times would barely last 30 minutes. There was no evidence of a bad battery cell (swelling) but I decided to change it out and so far I've had great results. Almost back to new with a good 3-4 hours of battery life. It is about 2 months old so only time will tell how long this battery will last. If you have a HDD like mine I would also look into a SSD upgrade as well.After initial installation I got a bios screen message on boot which indicated that I had a not an OEM battery (which other reviewers have stated). The system hung so I waited a few minutes, turned off the laptop and turned it back on and it booted right up with no more messages since. There are YouTube videos on how to take apart the HP laptop. Mine has only 6 screws all on the bottom, 3 along the bottom front and 3 in the back (2 covered by the rubber bumpers - I just lifted the back corner of each to remove, and 1 under a plastic cap in the back center). You will need some good skinny pry tools to separate the case and you will have to disconnect 3 ribbon cables to get access. There are 7 screws holding the battery in place as indicated by the white arrows on the battery.
