I have a Scanpan sauté pan with lid that I love and was looking for a fry pan for the two of us. This is perfect. Scanpans are easy to clean and eggs just slide off with a tiny amount of butter.

I already own a few pots. They cook well but know that the coating will peel in about 2 years. But hey, that's longer than many non-stick cookware.

These are the best pans. They can be washed in the dishwasher and are sturdy enough to take camping.

This nonstick pan is just the right size to make an omelet. I use four eggs with a splash of cream and then while the omelet is cooking I sprinkle in cheddar cheese and some cut up microwave bacon. The omelet doesn't stick at all. Clean up is a breeze because you just put the cooled pan in the dishwasher! I bought this pan ten years ago and it may not look as pretty but it still performs. Unlike other non-stick brands, Scanpan does not break down or scratch easily. You can be pretty aggressive with cleaning it, too. I follow their instructions to not use spray oils like Pam because they say that it impairs its non-stick properties. Although they say you can use metal utensils I don't do that either. I often use it for dishes like a frittata where you begin on the stovetop and finish under the oven broiler and the plastic-looking handle (and pan) does fine.
