This somehow got lost in the mail but the seller was very easy to work with and helped me out. I had to go to the pet shop an hour away to get a light though. It eventually came a month later and it seems sturdy and nice. Its a bit smaller for what i was looking for so i gave it to a friend and she likes it alot

This is a fantastic small size hood that matches the nano size reptibreeze screen cage for hatchling chameleons.

Product is exactly as described

Zoo Med bulbs have short life (few weeks), it's like buying a lot of printer cartridges. My fixture started having an electrical burn smell with the night heat lamp, so I got a new one fixture, same smell with new fixture. Tried bulb in another lamp no smell. Had this product for several years with no problem (other than short lamp life) but now the fixture issue so can't recommend this unit any more. Good luck!

It’s 2 plugs. Wild have been nice not to occupy both outlets. Since you’re only using one light at a time, I’m sure it could have been wired for one plug, and a 3 position switch for light A, light B and off. That’s my only gripe. Otherwise, works fine

Good for small enclosed cage for reptiles

Max wattage in print says 100w when box says 80w. Also pics show lamps installed but all the way down in fine print, "lamps not included" is found. Really disappointed with this.
