This one can either use a CD player or can attach to your air vent. It is sturdy. My phone doesn't fall off.

This Visceed Magnetic phone colder is Amazing and game changer. It has a strong magnetic hold that can be attack to vent or CD player in the car. I don't have a CD player in my Buick Encore, but everyone has front air Vents! The biggest issue I had when looking to invest in cell phone holder or cellphone car mounts, was they usually are not as strong for my Giant Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra cellphone. Another issue was not being able to use my cellphone case and having to take the cellphone case off. This Visceed Magnetic Cellphone CD/Air vent mount made it possible to use on the back of my cellphone protective case. I am in heavy traffic driving to Downtown Atlanta every morning with sudden stop and go traffic. This cellphone holder/mount has never come off my vents and cellphone is all securely attach. The protective case I have is a texture case that won't fit on other mounts or have strong Hold, but Visceed saves the day and it does. Another great feature is the ability to rotate the mount. This works amazing then turn your cellphone in different directions for wide or long view. The ability to tilt up and down allows ability to avoid sun glares. Removing the phone from the mount is easy and suggest to tilt a little when removing. You can feel the suction and grip the mount has when placing and removing cell. My family has fought over the first cellphone car mount I bought from Visceed. They won the first battle, but I won this second battle with my magnetic CD/ Air Vent mount. Best Ever! Woule like to mention that a lot of the new cars have Apple Android Auto, but this has to be connected with a USB cord. I ran into my Apple Android Auto not functioning on the screen to USB cord constantly going out. Having a Big cellphone was hard to close my cellphone in the compartment in the front of Buick Encore, but Visceed saves the day with this magnetic cellphone mount. I now use my new USB cord and not have to work about the USB cord getting damaged due to trying to close compartment with giant cellphone. Now my screen doesn't go out, my cellphone is secure, my cellphone is in view for easy access, and I'm being safe on the road. Easy installment and great investment. Please don't be sucker to some of the cellphone mounts in stores or the really cheap cute ones that will not securely hold your cellphone or just pop out the vent when you hit a bump, stop, or turn. This magnetic CD/ Air vent has not done it yet and how it is build and design won't let it. I have provided pictures to show off the magnetic cellphone mount. You will love the investment and be excited to get the next Visceed product they advertise because you know it works and provides versibility. Only Visceed products for me. i like the fact that this phone holder comes with a cd slot base and an air conditioner base. i use the cd slot base in my car and will keep the air conditioner base for rentals. for non-mag phones, they include a sticky backed ring to attach to other phones/cases which is considerate.i was worried that the phone would drop during driving but it keeps my phone snuggle in place.the product claims to come with lifetime warranty, but the card to activate doesn’t have a scannable qr code - which is a little sketchy… but my hope is that the product holds up for as long as i have a vehicle without car play. for now, i docked a star for that because if this product breaks after my return window, i have no guarantee that there is actually a lifetime warranty.will update this review if it breaks.

I recently got a magsafe case for my Android phone, and then I set out to find a car mount.I tried an adhesive mount first, but it wouldn't stay stuck. I considered one of the clips that goes on an air vent, but i didn't have one in a great location and I also didn't want to block a vent.Then I found this -- this CD slot mount is genius! My in-dash CD changer still functions, but I always use an aux input anyway, so I wouldn't care if it didn't.It has metal parts where it needs it for strength, so I'm able to get it nice and tight in there. It's really sturdy and has just been working perfectly.I have a Pixel 9 (Android) and the wireless charger works, however not at its top power/speed. Not a big deal, though. I don't mind connecting a charging cable to the phone itself.

Strong magnet. CD mount works great. Also comes with an air vent mount. Is not a charger! The photo makes it seem like it but nothing on the listing says it is a charger.

I found the instructions confusing. I would suggest to the manufacturer that they elaborate on the parts list page to describe THE FUNCTION of each part right there on THIS list. Then, before you begin, you can easily discard the parts you won't be using, making assembly less complicated. Other than the assembly of the part that goes into the CD slot, which takes almost zero effort, I only needed one single other part: the back steel ring. It comes coated with an amazingly strong adhesive and is affixed to your mobile device. I was not mounting a phone. I was mounting a GARMIN SmartDrive 86 GPS, which is the largest and heaviest Garmin automotive GPS I know of at 4 3/4 X 7 1/2 inches. When I bought it, I was advised not to use a magnetic mounting because of its weight. I bought one anyway, and it didn't fall off too often. However, with this new VICSEED 2024, I was amazed! The magnet is several times more powerful than the minimum needed. My Garmin will NEVER fall off, yet I can conveniently pull off the Garmin when I am done with it. Having installed it once, it is so easy to install a second time that I could do it upside down in the dark.
