Versatile keyboard case for iPad Mini
I’m writing this review using the product. It’s a great little keyboard case for the iPad Mini 6, consisting of two parts: a case for the tablet itself and a keyboard into which the table case connects magnetically. That connection is excellent; with a firm tug you can separate the two pieces, but it is unlikely they will come apart accidentally (save a pretty big jolt). The screen can open about 120 degrees, but you can also connect it “backwards” to create a tent-like shape or even just use the tablet with the keyboard connected underneath. Since the connection between the keyboard and the iPad is via Bluetooth, there are no wires to worry about.I’ve enjoyed using the iPad without the keyboard, as the case appears to provide good protection all around the sides and back of the tablet. While there is a bit of a “lip” to prevent the screen from scratching if you place it face-down on a surface, otherwise the case doesn’t cover the screen. However, it works just fine with my screen protector. I also really like that there’s a spot to connect the Apple Pencil magnetically, through the case. It’s strong enough that the Pencil will pair and charge, but its not super-strong; if I toss the iPad in my bag, the Pencil will likely fall off.The keyboard is good, considering the size of the device. No keyboard that fits the form factor of the iPad Mini is going to feel the same as a full-sized keyboard. But the keys travel well and I have had absolutely no problems with the Bluetooth connection to the iPad. They keys are not backlit. The battery life is likely quite good (although I haven’t used it long enough to run out of juice). There were some odd choices made in the keyboard: the question mark is in a different spot and the quotation marks require holding down the Fn to use. As a result, my typing on the keyboard is a bit slower than on a “real” keyboard. But for limited purposes, such as traveling when a smaller and lighter device is preferable, its perfectly useable.Overall, this is a great choice for a keyboard case for the iPad Mini. Especially considering the price (I paid about $50 USD), it is a solid, versatile accessory that has served me very well.

Very Solid
Very solid keyboard case for the iPad Mini 7 I’m using it with. Best feature is the detachable screen since it is held magnetically. Keyboard is solid for typing, just cramped as every iPad Mini keyboard is. I wish it was backlit and some of the special keys (like the apostrophe) were more easily mapped, but sacrifices must be made when you’ve got a Mini and I’ve yet to find a perfect typing keyboard.

100% Honest Review
There are Pros & Cons with every product. All in all, if you’re looking for an all in one setup for on the go, this case is durable and protective of your iPad. The keyboard is small, and takes some getting used to, but does the job. I do wish it had a mouse, but with the size, I can’t complain too much as it functions exactly as I need for travel. It’s also detachable. The rubber is pretty thick, which is great for protection, but not so great if you need to travel with your Apple Pencil. I wouldn’t recommend relying on the magnet to hold your Apple Pencil in place. Even though the magnet will pull the Apple Pencil towards the iPad, it won’t actually start charging until you push it down to confirm a solid connection. Once you do that, the connection will keep it charging though. That said, it easily falls off when bumping it, or trying to close the case. If you’re traveling, keep your Apple Pencil somewhere else besides relying on the case to hold it.Are there better keyboards? Absolutely. This is why I love the detachable feature of the keyboard because while at home, I turn the keyboard around to use as a stand and set it off to the side while using a different Bluetooth keyboard & mouse set-up to connect to my iPad, and then use an external hub to connect everything else I need (SSD, Ethernet, etc) to my external monitor. My iPad sits perfectly to the side where it’s out of the way, but also there if I need it.I actually like the fact that the keyboard detaches, and the magnets are so strong. You can disconnect the keyboard and use your iPad as a tablet, and the case looks clean with or without the keyboard attached. This keyboard case is great for at home, or on the go. Would be great for students. Does everything I need it to, and you can’t beat the value for the cost.Bottom line: Could there be improvements? Absolutely, but (in my opinion) you’d be hard pressed to find a better keyboard case (currently) that is so affordable, functional and well worth the money.

Excellent case and keyboard, and excellent customer service
This case and keyboard combination is super sturdy and has some features I really like. The battery in the keyboard lasts a very long time, and the keyboard detaches from the case, which is super handy. The keyboard is not backlit, so keep that in mind if you'd like to use it with the lights off. The case for my old iPad had this feature so I thought I might miss it, but I found I rarely want it so not having the back light is just fine. The notch for the on/off button and fingerprint reader may not be big enough if you have large fingers. You can use a sharp knife and slice off the piece of the case which gets in the way. I sometimes have to readjust my finger and it always gets read the second time. The Greenlaw customer service is top notch. They were super responsive to my questions and have made me a satisfied customer. When I needed warranty service they were easy to work with.

It’s OK, but…
The keyboard itself is OK. However, the keys don’t always work correctly. For example, I have to press “FN + -“ to get question mark or “FN + ?” to get a dash. That also goes for other keys. Alphabet keys work fine. I tried to switch it out, but they are all like that.
