Double din dash kit
Order THIS before you spend $70+ for the replacement dash panel, this comes with a template to make the original panel fit with your new radio, comes with antenna plug, and wire harness as well, WAY cheaper than most other kits I found👍👍

01 Yukon, cheap alternitive and it shows
Well I won't knock the product for my own negligence, but it seems like a good alternative to purchasing a $100+ item to do the same thing. That being said, I've seen a few comments on here and a few other sites that have stated this would work on my 01 Yukon with minimal cutting. Well I must have a different definition of "minimal" than other people, but I digress. The clips provided will work perfectly and snap firmly I to place when properly positioned and screwed onto your new receiver, an easy enough task to accomplish. The fun part begins when it comes time to cut the bezel and attach the provided face plate. On my vehicle, the bezel is rounded at the sides and the new face plate is flat and was too wide sit flat. Overall fitment is poor in my application but I made it work with a lot of cutting, and a good amount of stubbornness. The included wire harness is pretty standard and works as could be expected, so that's another plus.Overall, I wouldn't recommend this to anyone who wants a clean look, at least in my application, maybe it will work better for others that actually use it for the listed models in the description.

Great alternative to buying a $150 new dash mold.
The radio I purchased was not a standard double din size due to being a little wider than normal. I had intended to use in another vehicle and then changed my mind and added it to my tahoe. Even if I purchased a new dash mold I would have had to trim the sides. This kit was easier to modify and allows you to bring the radio forward so the front lip hangs over the HVAC selector switches. This is a huge bonus as these trucks do not have enough room for a double din and you have to wedge the radio in if you want to mount it flush. There are mounting holes for a variety of radios on the plastic side clips. I was able to use one of the holes on each side for alignment and drilled another set out after I found where I wanted the radio to sit. My radio is a shallow radio at about 2.5 inches deep so again not a standard hook up. Comes with the correct wiring harness and needed GM mini antenna adapter. Very happy with overall results and price is good.

Cheap but functional
Got this 2-DIN dash cover for an aftermarket install in my 97 Tahoe. Covers the unit's edge fine but doesn't cover the gap in the dash left by cutting out the lateral piece of the dashboard between the stock unit with cassette and the CD player, about 1" wide. Had to cut this piece out of the dash for the 2-DIN unit to fit properly or the dashboard would not seat. Decided to remove the CD player as well and made my own dash cover out of harder, better looking plastic to cover the entire area. Ok for the cost but it should address the gap issue if you also have a separate CD factory installed. 3 out of 5

but with patience and a little elbow grease it looks great. Remember
I bought this to install a cheap double din radio in my 98 Tahoe.Requires some cutting of the factory dash bezel, but with patience and a little elbow grease it looks great. Remember, cut a little at a time until it just barely fits. You cannot UNcut.I had to screw the side clips directly to the head unit and bypass the standard installation sleeve that comes with it. You have to test fit the whole assembly a few times for a good fit. mounting the side clips low lifted the radio up and kept it from pressing down on the climate controls (which is often a problem with a double din install in these trucks).I had looked at buying one of double din dash bezels, but for $150 I couldn't justify it (my new head unit was less than $100). Thought I would take a chance on this for $15 and it comes with the antenna adapter and wire harness, can't beat it.Could not be happier with my purchase.
