I'm not sure how to rate these sleeves. I'm sure as heck not going to take a knife and try to cut thru the sleeve, nor am I going to stick my arm into a thorny rose bush and wave it around to test it. So I will rate it by the way they fit... and they fit just right. I'm a big guy, and I thought these were going to feel like a tourniquet based on some reviews, but they fit snugly, they don't move around, the adjustable strap at the elbow and the thumb hole keep them in place.

Good fit and good protection Not sure about the Velcro adjustment. Another one I have is elastic at the top of the arm. No big deal. But if you are elderly and on some of those stupid meds that keep you alive and always have bruises all over your arms and bleeding everywhere, because you haven't given up on what needs to be done around your home or shop, then these are what you need to protect yourself

While these arm protectors are well made, and they offer some protection from braches and twiggs gouging your forearms. They DO NOT protect your arms from bougainvillea, or any other thorns. The picture on the ad is very missleading

These gloves are great for working and thorny bushes and the crazy undergrowth of poison ivy I have growing around my property. They are Cooling And do not slide down while working.

Not just for gardening. I have a cat that sometimes scratches me. I wear them when handling him. It really helps

These sleeves are a Godsend. I have a puppy that has torn up my very thin skin related to blood disorders. I can now swim in the pool with her with these sleeves on without worry. Highly recommend if you have a similar situation. Initially I ordered the wrist to elbow sleeves, but they slid down and didn't protect my arms. Velcro at the top solved that issue.

I was excited to receive these as I was looking forward to using them when putting hay out for our flock. My excitement turned to disappointment when I saw how easily the fabric snags (was snagged by the Velcro used to close the top of the arm gators). I did use them when putting out hay. They worked. The fit wasn’t the best though. They were too big in the hands and way too tight around the arms, especially my upper arms. Plus they were way too long. I might be able to make these work ok if I take them to a sewing machine and make a few adjustments. As far as being puncture resistant…..very skeptical on this as well. Would I recommend these to a friend. A definite NO.

These are sturdy and well made. I have a fireplace and a wood burning stove. These help with cuts or bruises on my arms carrying the wood in each winter as well as stacking many cords each year. Another plus for me is to use them working in the garden, as I am allergic to stinging insects. Good protection.
