This thing has been running for 2 years nonstop, and hasn't required anything more than 2 drops of 3-in-1 oil to stop a squeak.

Very Disappointing
Wasn’t super impressed with this fan from the time it arrived. Personally, I didn’t feel like the air flow was strong enough, especially on low. And then, if you turn it up to high the noise and vibration were unbearable.The biggest issue with this fan however, is the fact that the quality is absolutely horrible. While it’s not the most expensive box fan I have ever seen, it’s also not the least expensive so I definitely wasn’t expecting it to completely stop working after 6 months. Used it while sitting on the floor and one day while vacuuming I accidentally knocked it over and it didn’t work again. I am a frequent Amazon customer and usually have very good experiences with the products I purchase, but this one was a big disappointment.

Opt for a heavier duty fan not made of plastic that will move more air.
Made pretty flimsy and doesn't produce much air flow. Would not buy again. Might work better if used in a window to bring in fresh air. Doesn't work well to move air thru the house. Being plastic it would probably not hold up well if it were to fall over so not a good choice if you have dogs or small kids.
