Q: is this pan ok for induction stove?

It is awesome for induction cooking. The heat is spread out evenly. When I first got it I put in 1/4" of water and cranked up the heat. All but the most extreme corners went to a hard boil and the far fringes were boiling lightly. I've used this thing for over a year and have been extremely satisfied. It cleans up very easily and really makes cooking bacon, eggs, etc...simple.

Q: My wife complains that eggs stick with this griddle. Any suggestions to alleviate this issue?

With stainless steel pans, you never use more than medium heat. Lower is better even if it takes a few minutes for the griddle to come to temperature. To prevent eggs from sticking, make sure the griddle is at the proper temperature before putting the eggs on, by putting a few drops of water on the pan. If the droplets evaporate its not ready. They are ready when the droplets dance around the surface. Back off the heat a little and put on the oil and eggs. Only rarely when I get impatient do eggs stick to the surface

Q: Height of pan lip? Compared to most other griddles image appears more alike to a grill pan than a typical flat griddle.

The outside measurement on the griddle lip is 1 inch. The inside is about 5/8 or 3/4 of an inch. The griddle works well for us.

Q: the handle is made from stainless stell but what is the pan made from?

Bottom of the item reads: T 304 Stainless- 5 Ply for even heat- Lifetime Warranty. It is a bit harder to clean than my other stainless steel pans.
