I’m not very impressed with this hood cover. The material feels more like a low-quality bedsheet than something meant for outdoor or driving use. It’s extremely lightweight, which might sound good at first—but in reality, it just means it flaps around like crazy unless it’s strapped down tight.Unfortunately, the nylon straps are just as disappointing. They’re flimsy, won’t hold securely, and constantly loosen, making it nearly impossible to keep the cover in place—especially while driving. Overall, it’s not durable, practical, or worth the money in my opinion.

Works

I bought this hood cover pretty much only to prevent the neighborhood cats from continuing to scratch my car with their claws! Just put it on my X3 BMW. Wasn't any instructions but we figured it out, cut the strings and decided to not drive with it on for saftey reasons. This is a preliminary review because just applied it. Well see if there's any cat paws or scratches in the morning and go from there. Hopefully, the cat scratches won't penatrate through the thin fabric.

No instructions included on how to put it on. No videos on the product page to show you how to put it on. I can't figure it out, how to get it on the car. Also, although the smaller size claims to fit small SUV's (like the Subaru Forester), it seems like it's too small. I'm not impressed.

It was too big and it flopped around when driving

I bought this for my 2005 Honda Accord Sedan, expected it to be black color but it was actually gray. That not a big issue, it fits fine, actually it was little bigger so had to use pins to hold hanging cloths from getting into moving parts. Used it for 2 months and then its stripe burned by heat and broke. I was lucky that I had secured and used pins to keep the stripes away from rotating part so after breaking stripes did not stuck into timing belt otherwise it could have cause a bigger damage.

UPDATE——I’ve had it for an a month or so works great even at highway speeds no flapping if u use some safety pins to keep it tight or fishing line and works great but overall it’s worth 30 bucks I’m gonna order another one.Cons—-It fades in 3 months but I kinda like it the Matt black
