Q: I have 500-600 ppm tap water in az - is that too much for this to work well?

At 500 PPM you will get effective use for about 120 gallons of water. You will then need new cartridges or accept reduced performance. At 600 PPM you will likely get about 80 gallons. I have this system but our water is only about 100 ppm I calculate that I use about 6 gallons of treated water per wash of my full sized sedan. You can figure this for yourself by spraying water from the nozzle you normally use into a 5 gallon bucket. Time how long it takes to fill the bucket divide by 5 for a Gallon/Minute rate. Then next time you wash your car time the duration of each use of the nozzle (discharging water) I used my cell phone the exact time for each use is not that important. Add up the number of minutes used; multiply by your Gallon/Minute and you will know your Gallons/Wash.

Q: Can the bracket be mounted to a wall?
