I'm not giving it 5 stars cos it's stained just a bit. But it has been used every single day, for a few months, so I'm not too fussed about it.

I needed something we could use in the microwave to warm our food. We live in our camper and have limited space and need to have an awareness of durability and weight. I've tried reheating on heavy paper plates but it's not ideal. These plates and bowls are just what we needed AND they're pretty.

I received the product today so can’t speak to durability just yet. However, the product looks nice and appears to be of good quality. I love the neutral color because it can be mixed with any decor. The plates are nice but I wish they sold another set that has a slightly deeper profile, and wish they would sell individually don’t always want to buy bowls along with it. I love all the sustainability claims of the product, but I just wish I can verify it. I tried to find information on this company and couldn’t find anything online. There is another company with the same name but a different logo so I’m not sure if they are related. It be nice to find some online data that helps legitimize this company and their sustainability claims. Yet, if it’s true then I feel good about my purchase.

I bought these for my daughter to take to college, she goes in the fall so we haven’t used them yet. However, I can still tell you a few things. I try to avoid plastics whenever possible and these seemed like a good alternative. I wanted something lightweight and durable for her dorm room. These check the box for those needs. Unfortunately I was disappointed when I read the enclosed information card which states you can not microwave for more than 3 minutes, you should not use a knife to cut your food on the plates because they scratch easily and you should not use for tomato or curry based foods as they will stain. I may have missed these instructions in the product description and if I did that’s my fault. But when it says “microwave safe” in the product description I never thought it would be for 3 minutes or less. I do feel these are important things to know before you purchase, so know what your needs are before buying. Planning on simple usage (cold foods, sandwiches, serving only and not using to reheat), they will work great. Heavy usage (reheating, serving daily hot meals,) probably won’t be what you need.

I actually cancelled my order initially because I saw cheaper wheatstraw products on Amazon, but I really liked how these looked compared to the others, so I bought them! I am so glad that I did!! They look so nice and are a lot more sturdy and thick than my other wheatstraw plates. I love that these plates feel like plastic, but without all the toxins!! I have a 2 year old and this product can definitely endure abuse! They look so nice and it feels good knowing that if they eventually break, they will degrade overtime, a lot faster than plastic would. Also I love that the company included instructions on how to care for this product, AND have a lifetime warranty. Super happy with my purchase!!!! I bought two sets and love them!
