Goodness! Charming Lanterns!
I am mystified by the complaints. Some folks state the lanterns tear easily. It's not iron ore. Be gentle, people.Others complain that the tassels on the bottom fall off. As the lanterns are compressed, the tassels of one may stick to the top of another. When separating the two, the tassel may come off. Just open the metal prongs on bottom and reattach.I cannot attest to the battery life because I hung the lanterns and did not immediately employ the lights, but without lights, the lanterns are colorful and charming. The lights are surprisingly bright. (I tried the lights and then turned it off).Buy a pack, be joyful, and don't complain.

Chinese New Year
If these hang they are cute. The light inside is not bright enough to show up. If you want them to stand up you will need to figure out something to hold them up. O used large popsicle sticks.

Inconsistancy product quality
I guess I was lucky only one light out of 10 didn't work, 4 that were very dimmed and five that were pretty good. The tassels at the bottom fell off quite easily. These are expensive for the price, in Asia, you can buy these practically for $2 USA.

Fun lanterns for a Japanese dinner party
These lanterns came wrapped nicely. They were easy to put together and all the lights worked. The colors were bright and really dressed up the room. Very please with purchase.
