Q: Do I just eat the black garlic as is?

Yes, simple way is to peel the skin off and eat it directly. If you want a more chewy texture then just leave it out in room temperature for a while before consumption.

Q: where is the garlic grown?

It says a product of the USA and that could mean just about anything. Maybe it was grown here and maybe not. When I order again I am going to go the Gilroy California website and buy from them. It is grown in Gilroy that I know for a fact.
