Royal Canin Bichon Frise Adult Dog Food 3lbs

My little girls are a mix of Bichon/Shih Tzu they are doing well with a mix of two blends from Royal Canin. There eyes are clearer and they are full of energy. Shame on me, I tried that Blue Buffalo brand they pooped all the time. My veterinarian is happy that I am back with Royal Canin.

Good product, but away too expensive. I bought the same one in PetSmart for a better price.

I bought this without reading the ingredients because it was for my Bichon. She turned out to be allergic to it. When I read the ingredients, I was shocked to see the first ingredient was wheat. The remaining Ingredients are not what is recommended, such as meat instead of meat meal, good carbs, specifically oatmeal and barley etc. And it’s so expensive! I don’t mind paying for quality, but not this. My vet said take her off it immediately and feed her only cooked chicken and rice until I saw improvement (1-2 weeks). Then we’ll add ingredients to homemade food and probably switch her over to a holistic meat and grain (barley, oatmeal). With the heart issues that have been discovered, we don’t want to be feeding our babies a no grain food.

I like Royal Canin as a whole for my bichon. We thought this would be the perfect food, but he got pretty sick when he ate it. We tried a few different times and he got sick each time.
