Marvel Avengers Captain America Magnetic Shield & Gauntlet 2-Piece Toy Figure Set

My 4yo son loves this. He wanted a shield for Christmas to complete his Captain America costume and this one is the perfect size and wt. good price point and easy to use. He does have to have help getting the wrist part on The shield throws well and the magnet holds it in place well.

Such a simple concept but the magnetic armband makes it so cool. My kids play with this all the time. It’s small, but I prefer that. It sticks to the armband well. Aside from the paint wearing off pretty quickly with rough and tumble play, we are happy with it.

This is one of the greatest toys for a young boy! My son is 3.5 years old and absolutely loves this toy. He loves to play all of his favorite super heroes and Captain America is by far one of his favorites. My wife babysits several kids and the only drawback to this is that it is so awesome kids can and will fight over it. They love how the shield sticks to the forearm and since they don't understand how magnets work, in their minds it works because they are super heroes. Jealousy can ensue when they want to use the power of the shield.Kids will love this shield and forearm combo!

Well-made and heavy shield so you could really pretend to be Captain America and sling this thing around. The magnet does hold it well to the armpiece. The armpiece isn't so great but workable. It is SMALL. Great size for a toddler, say a three year old. I got it for my five year old since I got his sisters Wonder Woman shields but after he saw the shooting discs from his sister's shield he decided he'd rather be Wonder Woman, I should have gotten the Nerf Captain America shield that shoots nerf darts. Throwing a frisbee (which is what this shield is really, it's about the size of a frisbee but heavy) is not nearly as cool as shooting discs. Definitely to small for a five year old, I plan to get the Nerf shield to replace this one. Giving it four stars as it is nicely made, sturdy, would be great for up to four years old but to small past that. I should have looked more closely at the dimensions.

According to my new 4-year old, this was his best present EVER! He absolutely loves flinging the shield in the air, trying to catch it with the magnet! I'm glad it gives him so much joy.However, as a parent... Ouch! I've been hit in the fingers and bare (cold) toes with this thing! My complaint isn't the fact it's a little dangerous to my phalanges, it's how the shield attaches to the magnets. There is a rim around the magnet on the interior side that makes it tough for a kid to catch it. I may upload a pic or video later to illustrate this problem better.That said, my kid loves it, and gets a lot of joy out of having a magnetic shield just like Cap - because of that I recommend it.

My grandson put this on Christmas Eve and still had it on Christmas Day. He is 10 loves to pretend. The shield is the size of a Frisbee. It flies off the magnetic wrist mount when throne correctly.

For days my son was using a top to my soup pot as a shield and I swore he was going to hit my with it lol I went right on amazon and found exactly what I was looking for and ordered the shield at a great price! Once we received the shipment he was super excited about the package and could not wait until I opened the package. Its been hours later and he is still playing with it.
