The best scales I have ever had
Love these scales. I've had a few brands of scale over the years but these are the best up to now. Decent size to see the read out. Easy to use. Measure and add function. Lbs or metric. Don't need to keep buying batteries - cos they plug in too. Easy wipe clean. Any bowl will do. And they fit in my kitchen utensil drawer. Bonus.

These Scales Do Not Work
The product looked fine, that is what the one star is for. If I could have given zero stars I would have done. The scales do not perform the most basic function of weighing things. You put a bowl on the scales, set the tare button to zero, then start adding things to your bowl and the weight shown is little more than a random number. First the weight would go up, then you add more and the weight goes down. Sometimes to zero, sometimes to negative numbers. Totally useless, returned only a few hours after delivery.

Lots of good points, but takes 4 seconds to turn off and defaults to imperial measurements
I'm happy with these scales so far. I really like that you can remove the platform to wash it, and that it is large enough that you can see the readout easily without it being obscured by your container. It doesn't time out quickly (takes 2 minutes with batteries in ) and so I haven't got caught out with it turning off before I want it to which often happened with my last scales.I bought the 10KG version, I'm not sure if that is overkill for me, but my bowl weighs nearly 1Kg, so it does give a bit more leeway for heavy containers in the domestic kitchen. It was also cheaper than the 5KG version at the time.I was pleased to see that the battery compartment doesn't require a screw driver and it takes regular AAA batteries. They are quite large, though fairly sleek looking. So far they've tended to live on my work top. There are a few things to note...The instructions that come with it are in tiny, tiny print. At first I didn't put a battery in and used the mains adaptor. If you turn it off at the plug, it will revert to lbs and ounces every time, which I find a little annoying. I wish there was a physical switch for choosing metric or imperial units or would rather it default to metric. Once you put batteries in, it will remember what units you previously selected, so it is a minor point, but then you have to hold for several seconds to turn it off... see next point.I would prefer a physical switch for turning it on and off as holding the button for 4 seconds to turn it off is just too much time wasted. Or perhaps a quick double tap to switch off? If it is being used with batteries, it will turn itself off after 2 minutes. Plugged in, it won't turn itself off.It has a hold function - if you read the teeny, tiny print, it does tell you, it resets after 15 seconds, so whilst it will hold, don't hang around too long, or it is gone.I was going to give it 5 stars, but I have reminded myself of the negatives... mainly the length of time to turn off, so I've knocked a star off. I'm not sure if that is being a bit mean... I may come back and be kinder later.I haven't tried it for very small measurements as I do some other Taylor scales that I use for things like salt where it is less than 10g - they did need calibrating by the way, so it's worth checking these things.

Electric Scales
I love these scales, being able to use electric plug, not having scales cut out on you while weighing & not having to replace batteries appearance is good, nice clear readout. bit on expensive side, but up to now best scales I’ve ever bought. Can use batteries but I don’t intend too.

Accurate measurements and easy to use
After going through quite a few kitchen scales over the past few years, I decided to try a professional scale in the hope it would be more durable and longer-lasting. So far I'm really impressed - it was easy to set up, the silver plate detaches for easier cleaning, its proven to be accurate with measurements. I also really like the option to use either batteries or a cable for the power source. Its not too bulky either which makes for easier storage.

Dose not weigh correct
It was to be a Christmas Present. Opened it to check if ok. It dose not weight correctly, its faulty, I did not exspect it to be made in China? its has english name and english price, feel I was conned. Not worth the money, the price has risen considerable by around 25% from the price I paid just over one month ago.
