El altavoz es bastante bonito de diseño, se le ve sólido, bien construido y perfectamente embalado.En cuanto al sonido, es muy bueno, apto para casi cualquier tipo de música. Se echa de menos una aplicación que pudiera hacer algún tipo de ecualización. Como no hay nada que cambiar del sonido, te tienes que conformar con lo que los ingenieros de Vifa han considerado lo óptimo para el altavoz.Desde mi punto de vista, le falta un poco de bajos, pero lo compensa con unos medios y agudos bien regulados y potentes. La música clásica y bandas sonoras suenan muy bien. La música pop también muy bien, pero quizá en algún momento de echa de menos un poco más de fuerza en los bajos, pero en términos generales suena todo muy equilibrado.A mi no me gusta la música muy alta, pero la potencia de sonido es grande y no se aprecian distorsiones al subir el volumen. Los botones van algo duros, hay que hacer más fuerza de la deseable tanto para encender como para apagar, pero bueno. La conexión bluetooth es rápida y estable, pero no tiene el indicador de batería que aparece en la barra de notificaciones con otros altavoces, tienes que conformarte con una luz que se enciende al apagar el altavoz y que te indica un poco el estado de la batería.La batería dura teóricamente unas 7 horas, sólo la he cargado una vez y he escuchado unas 3-4 horas y sigue sin problemas, aquí se paga el tamaño del altavoz, que es pequeño y con 3 altavoces activos no queda mucho más espacio.Lo he comparado con un JBL Charge 5 y el Vifa le gana en medios y agudos y pierde en bajos, la ventaja del JBL es que se puede ecualizar en su aplicación.También lo he comparado con un B&O P6 y suenan bastante similares, muy bien ambos, aunque de nuevo el Vifa pierde un poco en bajos y lo gana en medios, el P6 también se puede ecualizar, lo que le da ese punto de ventaja por la personalización.En términos generales, el Vifa Reyjkavyk es un buen altavoz portátil, con un sonido muy bueno, por encima de la media de altavoces portátiles, pero si te gustan los bajos contundentes, vete al JBL Charge 5.

I purchased the speaker and the first one arrived broken, it would would connect to bluetooth but it would not make a sound. It had some nasty black glue at the bottom, I expected much more from a premium product and brand. I own the Helsinki and it arrived perfect. I contacted Vifa directly and they were no help, just told me to return and reorder another one. I even told them I didn't want to go through amazon as the package was lost at first. So, I ordered another speaker at $200 and sent the other back which I was later refunded. This one actually worked and it has the original stock firmware which has less bass than the new one. I really like the sound as it is, it is very clear and detailed. Very good for acoustic music etc. I use it with everything but sometimes if I need more bass, I will use the Helsinki instead. I would recommend this speaker as a secondary speaker for certain genres. As a primary speaker, I would update the firmware or buy a Denon Envaya. Overall I love the looks of the speaker, the sound is very detailed, and wool version feels great. The cons would be the QC issues, customer service issues, and the fact that you cannot update via app or mac, only windows. I don't own a windows computer and don't have access to one. The mids and highs on this speaker really saved it. I would really love to listen to the Oslo and the Copenhagen next!

What a find this is! As a dance teacher needing a speaker that’s both portable and packs enough power to fill in a dance studio, this is the ticket: classical music comes through loud and clear (I haven’t tested it with other styles of music yet, so can’t really comment on bass); no vibrations/distortions at the loudest; battery life definitely long enough to play at the loudest -if intermittently- for 4.5 hours running; reasonably light in weight (600g); small enough to fit in any bag; and if that weren’t enough it is also oh-so-very-stylish and a most pleasantly tactile object. Thank you Vifa!

Conforme à mes attentes

Ich habe mich lange Zeit auf den Release der Vifa Reykjavik gefreut. Als großer Fan der Marke Vifa habe ich die größeren Brüder Helsinki, Oslo und Copenhagen. Alle drei beeindrucken durch mobilen Hifi-Klang. Mit dem Vifa Reykjavik habe ich auf ein noch mobileres Hifi-Erlebnis gehofft, welcher sich sicherlich auch gut auf dem Schreibtisch gemacht hätte. Aber leider kann der Reykjavik leider nicht ganz mit den größeren Modellen mithalten. An erster Stelle sei darauf hingewiesen, dass man unbedingt die neueste Firmware installieren sollte. Mit der ursprünglich zum Release installierten Firmware klang der Reykjavik absolut dünn, ohne jeglichen Tiefgang. Nach dem Update sind nun auch im Tieftonbereich Töne hörbar. Allerdings fehlt dem kleinen Vifa das gewisse Etwas. Er klingt sehr ausgeglichen, aber auch irgendwie emotionslos. Am ehesten kann man ihn wohl mit dem B&O Beoplay A1 vergleichen. Der ist zwar nicht so neutral abgestimmt wie der Vifa, dafür aber emotionaler. Es ist einfach gefälliger mit dem A1 der eigenen Lieblingsmusik zu lauschen. Was mich auch etwas gestört hat, waren die Vibrationen, die der Reykjavik an seinen Untergrund abgibt. Für den Schreibtisch war er somit für mich nicht geeignet. Bitte nicht falsch verstehen, denn der Reykjavik ist auf keinen Fall ein schlechter Lautsprecher. Wer absolut neutralen bzw. fast schon analytischen Sound mag, der könnte damit glücklich werden. Wer jedoch einen mobilen Lautsprecher zum mobilen Musikgenuss sucht, der auch etwas Emotionen transportiert, der sollte eher nach etwas anderem schauen.
