Good pack...durable.
Been using this pack for about 10 months now as my daily pack. It's an excellent pack and has held up well to daily use. There is plenty of room and the storage is well organized. One of the real highlights of this pack is the water bottle storage pockets!! (other manufacturers should take note here!!) The water bottle pockets will hold a full sized (32 oz.) Nalgene bottle no problem. You won't be able to zip the pockets all the way up, but they're gusseted so the bottle won't go anywhere and it definitely fits. I wish more manufacturers would realize the critical importance of well designed water bottle pockets. After all, what is the single most important thing the human body needs...water, right? No excuse for not designing around water bottles (and no, bladders don't cut it unless you love 98.6 degree water). One negative I had read before buying this pack was the lack of cinch straps, and it's true this pack does not have them. I was leery of this at first, but it hasn't turned out to be an issue. I do leave extra room in my pack in case I need to put a jacket inside or something, and not having the cinch straps hasn't been a major problem. They'd probably be nice, but it's not a biggie. The pack is expandable as its name suggests, though it's actually pretty large even without the expansion opened up. Size wise it's well cut. I'm 6'4" and about 260 with a very large frame (52L sport jacket) and this pack fits me very well. The molle on the outside is kind of useless, anything you'd hook to it would make the back of the pack stick out more. Good for a carabiner or two, but it could probably go without. It doesn't get in the way though. Zippers all seem to hold up well and don't foul. Zipper pulls are good (a lot better than most). Only zipper complaint I have is I wish the top outside pocket had two zippers like the rest of the pockets. With only one zipper you can't zip from the center which is nice in a car when you're reaching over to another seat to get something. Pockets are all well sized and thought out.Love the fact that the inside of the bag is orange, you can see what you're trying to get easily. Not a lot of clutter and compartments inside the main bag which is good. There's a notebook laptop pocket and the rest of the inside is open (this is a plus). There is also a laptop / bladder zip pocket just behind the harness. I haven't really used this yet, but I guess it would work with my laptop to keep it closer to my back (center of gravity wise). The lumbar padding on the back is a little funky at first, it's pretty thick, but maybe it's just me and my being tall. The bag is perfectly at home slamming around in the back of the pickup with the dogs out hunting as it is in my office. It's been dragged through the mud, rocks and dirt with no wear issues I can see. I'm going to beat on it some more and see how it holds up. One thing is I USE all my gear, and use it hard. So far, this pack has taken everything I've thrown at it with no complaints.I'd buy it again.

Top quality backpack for a very good price
Top quality backpack for a very good price on Amazon. It looks great and spacious. It has plenty of pockets for storage. My 15 inch computer fits perfectly inside with plenty of space available for other items.

Great but needs better stitching.
I love this bag. Five months in, and it had kept up great. My only problem is the stitching is begining to tear on the right shoulder strap. Keep in mind I’m a fulltime college student, camping enthusiast, and frequent international traveler. My recommendations are heavier stitching, double or even triple in places where it could tear.
