I highly recommend this habanero extract. I used it in Jam, candy, and a couple of other recipes. It’s definitely hot! And, the more extract you add, the hotter things get.

Pros: This was well packaged and the dropper did not break on delivery.CONS: Comes with a warning to avoid consuming directly, Ignore that and this product. I'll change this if the vendor can send me something matching what is advertised. Habanero pepper should be bringing the heat. There is so much of the other oil in this that you can not even taste the few drops of Habanero that went into the bottle. On the whole from the little amount of flavor in the bottle I would say less than one full habanero pepper is in each bottle. Yes there was some heat to the bottle but very little. I put half a teaspoon of this on a spoon put it directly on my tongue let it sit in my mouth and it barely registered as warm. Not saying that it doesn't have some trace levels of Habanero, but so slight that if it were beer it could qualify as Non-Habanero safe to drink.Clearly says on the bottle that Amazon will not accept returns but vendor will. We all know where that leads.Yes believe the other one stars. You can't even smell Habanero in this product, not that habanero has much of a smell in the first place.No I will not be buying this again. I was hoping the other reviews were in error or just for other flavors as the ones I found for habanero looked good. Don't be fooled. Go elsewhere. Lacking in both heat and taste.

I've been looking for the perfect thing to make hot honey, and this was it. Doesn't change the color or make the honey cloudy, and it's delicously hot! I can't wait to use it in other recipes.

Ordered Habanero flavoring for a different option for cotton candy. There is absolutely no smell for this flavoring. I added half of the bottle and there is a TINY amount of “spice”. (I am a big baby with spice so if it’s minimal enough for me to eat then you normal spice lovers will be HIGHLY disappointed). I will have to add the remaining half of the bottle to even get a hint of the flavor I was looking for.

This product came beautifully boxed, but the dropper was broken upon opening. My guess is that it happened in shipping. I wasnt going to use it anyway, but thought others may like to know. I advice to buy this by itself so that it has less chance to break.This smells mild, but i took a tiny bit on my finger to try and its SPICY, im going to love adding this to everything! (Habanero) the extract is a bit thicker and dark reddish brown.

Not as much habanero flavor as hoped for, but works for what I wanted it for. Dropper was shattered on arrival, but I wasn't expecting (or needing) one, so it's not a problem.

I purchased the Habanero flavor planning to add it to my wife's homemade salsa for a unique variation. I wanted the habanero flavor without the insane heat. Comes overly-packaged in an attractive white cardboard box with foam insert and dropper...you'd think you bought a fancy wristwatch. Opened it at work to share with a couple of friends. It is the color of sesame oil. All three of us agreed it has no smell at all. Tasting it, we equally agreed it has absolutely no flavor. It left a slight sting on the tongue, but it is odorless and flavorless. Paid $15 for a bottle of brownish oil and got completely duped. This is a review about nothing...literally.
