I like it over those other brands. Easy to control the heat. Cast iron grates. Cooks a mean steak and corned bread. Never tried smoking yet though. I don't have the patience to smell meat cooking and wait.

Have a few different grills already.. big smoker and a nice griddle.But sometimes it's a pain to fire up the big smoker/grill when its just me and the wifey. And griddle cooking has its place as does charcoal.This thing is built like a tank.. almost too heavy for camping, but I wouldn't hesitate to take it to the park to grill on. Nice cast iron grates. Adjustable charcoal platform is great to control your heat.I added additional gasket as it somewhat leaks smoke, but not a huge deal and not a deal breaker. Just my preference.

Downsized from my larger charcoal grill. Love this one. One modification I made was bought some Weber smoking tape and lined the perimeter of the grill. Works awesome and no heat or smoke loss. Everything else works great.

This thing is excellent! Very easy to use, clean, and maintain. I haven't tried to use it for smoking but everything that I need for grilling this this does beautifully. Love the cast iron grates and depth changing ability of the coals. Very happy with my purchase. Also, get the weather cover. Has been very handy.

The lid fit a lil off, but worked. Then I dropped it, but still works! Very heavy portable. Very sturdy. Good thing!😆

I have used this twice and I am now hooked. I absolutely LOVE this. Hubby is deployed and the propane scares me but now I can cook on this. It’s amazing. Great product perfect for me to use.
